i understand the trauma that accompanies losing a loved one but why are these women rushing into pregnancy when they have lost almost everything? i think the last thing on my mind when my town is destroyed will be to have a family, especially living in a poverty stricken country

i think that they're making a big mistake by trying to replace the memories of their children with new ones

I think its understandable. They want to move on with their lives. Babies are a good way to take you mind off just about anything. They will give the women something to focus on other than the loss(es) they have suffered.

To me it just sounds like the women are trying to move forward nothing more.

i think that's a natural thing to try to do but what i think is weird is that even the doctor from unicef agreed. i mean, family planning anyone? if i was that woman i would at least try to be secure financially or at least have somewhere to live that's not a tent before i get pregnant
