Reality TV - Blizzard Sector

As we all know. Reality TV is now taking over TV. What's your guys reaction to it?

I DISPISE reality TV with a grand and boundless hate. It makes me near phyically ill to even watch a reality TV show. Thinking about them makes my stomach rumbel is discontent.

i don't watch TV ever...so i don't really care. Being that i don't like reality TV, probably one of the reasons i don't watch it.

It is just the current trend. Much like the Newlywed games and the game shows in the 70's and 80's. It will pass in time.

Not anymore most of them are staged.
Thank you MTV for creating this stuff that I'm sure came from the lowest wrung of hell it's self, scratch that reality TV came from heaven.

But, look at it from producers points of view, this is virtually one of the most sound money making thing's ever to appear on TV they don't even have to pay the people on these show's except for the occasional actor they hire to get the show "heated".

bah. reality tv's as real as ashlee simpson's singing and pro wrestling.

so not real at all. its so stupid because it's all scripted, within an inch of its life...so stupid. we can only hope that it's a phase that'll be gone soon.

I despise it. Most of it is scripted but i can gaurentee that Survivor isn't because i know one of the people who work on the show.

reality tv is stupid. aside from the obvious scripting, every reality series is basically the same. bring a bunch of people together and film them fighting. one essential ingredient seems to be that there always has to be a b!tch in the group

I wonder how shows like "The Real Gilligans Island" or "Fear Factor" can be considered reality TV. Since when is somebody forced to stay on an island and be voted off one by one from their peers? Since when is somebody forced to eat nasty food or do daring stunts for money, or be dropped? It's stupid. It's not reality. If I want real reality TV, all I have to do is go outside. That is where reality exists. Not behind your TV screen where you are "safe."

I honestly haven't turned my TV on in literally months. This "Reality TV" trend got very old very fast, so I hope other people start to see it like I do...

when you have a life its really easy to go without watching most of the mindless dribble on TV. The only time my TV gets turned on is if i'm watching a movie or playing ps2 i never watch cable though. Or rarely ever.
