hey iam very new to WOW i jsut got the game 2 days ago..and i was wondering what is the over all best starting race/class?

also how does ur skills you buy from your trainer and your talents match up?

iam not use to games like this at all so iam very lot atm so any info you have will be awesome thanks..

Well some say hunters are the easiest to play, but with any character you pick you have to be good to get the best out of him.

Skills you learn most of the time every 2 levels, talents are after level 10 you can read any number of website or ask someone like frater about talent specs for lvling and so on.

Try do instances at lower levels as i think it gives you much needed skills for lvl70 something that is lacking alot atm in WoW.

I wouldn't recommend a Priest as your first character. They're rather difficult to level up as you will spend a lot of time drinking unless you get a LOT of +spirit. Plus Shadow Priests are tough as nails to play in PvP.

I'd actually recommend Orc/Tauren Hunter for your first time through. Spec him Beast Mastery. It's practically auto-pilot. Mages (Undead) are also cake. Or at least I thought they were. You get to make your own food and water and it's pretty tough to die as a mage. Plus in instances, Mage doesn't have a whole lot of repsonsibility other than sheeping a target (maybe), not pulling aggro, and making a table.

As you may have noticed, I play Horde. Alliance would be different, obviously.
