best character for starting? - Blizzard Sector

Hey my account expired XD sooo im starting over again on ladder...and i was wondering whats the best character for starting is? andd for that "type" of character what skill is the best?

For starting, I would recommend a sorc, blizz for mfing meph and such, or a light sorc for botting :P

You cannot light sorc bot with no gear. If you just started out with nothing. Blizz sorc is the way to go HANDS DOWN. This ladder I've tried all three because I wanted to have a change from Blizz. It was a horrible idea. Plus you can bot with Blizz sorc. Don't make anything besides a Blizz sorc, or your just going to have to end up creating a new character again.

Lightning sorc is the best if you will use mmbot, just take out shenk sequence if you are newly starting and you will be fine. A lightning trapper will work too, you can get the mmbot for trapper as well, or just use the shopbot for claws.

For the light sorc, if you just shop a lower resist wand (act1-2 hell are best) when starting out, it helps a lot on mephisto.

correction, lightning sorc is the best if you have the proper gear. w/o gear a light sorc is worthless and weak.

you should reat a blizz sorc beacause even with shit gear they are still half way decent and after about a week or two of playing you will find some pretty nice stuff to use

kk i used ur ideas and made a blizz sorc, and yah i lvled like crazy n now im like around lvl 70 XD. buh like the problem is that im getting LITERALLY RAPED haha in hell -- and like my merc doesn't do crap... soooo wen u say to bot am i supposed to bot in hell??? or like nm hahah

Bot in nm for a while to get a little better gear and level, then mf manually in hell where you have better control of whats your character is doing.

With my lightning sorc build I was able to use the mmbot to run eldritch/pindle, one week into the ladder, with items such as spirits/3 light circlet. I probably got about 70-80% success, its those skeleton archers that always got me at frigid.

But if you plan to mf mephisto/andy by yourself with little or no gear, it is easier to use blizzard sorc.

a h-din is also very easy to play and can easily be played through hell selffound. ts-druid is also very easy to handle and can be very strong with selffound eq.
i agree to the posts considering the bot-question

blizzard sorceress. its what i made day 1 of the ladder reset, and what i still use nearly every time i play. im level 92.5 now with a good mf setup and 4.7 k bliz damage with perfect resists :)
< that is her casting frozen armor in my avatar.
