I was wondering what the best setups are for:

A) Hell rushing (and lower obviously lol)

B) MFing, hell/nm.

By setup, I mean equipment, race, and skill layout, if anyone could please help me out there.

if i remember well, i wrote about two different hammerdins, well the one that is a basic hammerdin using the usual 125FCR hammerdin setup is the one u need.

for future reference, questions related to this should go in the diabloII section or the character developement section. when it says help it means using the forums not on diablo related issues.

and yes i recommend a hammerdin. a good light sorc could do it too but might cost a little more and be a little tougher. you might find it funner than a hammerdin though(+they can pvp ok as well)

Okay, so that hammerdin will work for rush AND MF? And I am sorry I was in a rush today so I didn't have time to fully check out the forums, and I haven't been here for like, ever. My bad

Anyway yea, so good gear for both rushing and MFing there, cool... I'll check it out, thanks guys :) If I see a way to add to rep I will do so, or else you can have my points, I won't use em

hammerdins r awesome 4 rushes and mf runs but i personally like fire sorcs mostly because they can still have 500+ mf and still be pretty decent. like my fire sorc has 496 (dont got perfect nigels yet...) and still can rush hell in like 10-15 mins (about 25 w/o mh) of course ur gonna need a good act2 holy freeze merc for chaos, travs, and ancients (bonehew if ur gonna be a cheep nl and insight for cheep ladder) if u want my fire sorc build just ask. its not the best build but its ok. it was my first fire sorc and came pretty good for a lvl 80+

I used to MF using a fire sorc and in hell almost everything is immune and I didn't like that lol.

thats wat the merc is for. plus ur not really gonna kill much monsters r ya? mostly bosses and quest needed guys (travs)
