Ive been trying to make a smiter and imo it seems to me its the best. Against my Trapper with 12k damage...many vindicators had 1/6 of their life down when i died. =/ and i was spaming traps for a few minutes. Their resis are maxed and has supersorbs they should have 80 80 80 resist to all. So thats immune to all casters. Then the only real challenges in melee are barbs. How come ive seen people say that smiter can be easily killed by sorcs and such?

Smiters are actually quite easy for most chars. In order to have a good chance against any build, you have to be ultra-skilled. If you are not, most people will kill you easily.
I.e. Smiters are a joke for my Wind Druid.

literally, barley touch them

trap sins usually beats smiters, does ur trapper use mb? if so it should be easy

yes i use mb the thing is the smiter usually absorbs my lightning like crazy...i dont see how a pallys 80 resis 40 sorb of raven frost not be immune to your wind druid =/

It's the Druid's main attack, Tornado (physical) that kills, usually a Smiter won't get close enough to be hit by a Tornado. By the way, 2xRaven is BM, and you are not allowed any Ravens if your cold resist is over 75.

With your Trapper, you probably cannot kill mass absorbing noobs (BM once again). Make a hybrid Trapper. Most overpowered char in legit duelling, but requires a lot of skill.

lol but yeah they not so tough if they just join a game and kill evryone that means you all suck really bad. it doesnt mean they are GG it just means u suck.. so just make a char with good stuff and u can rape games like they do

BM = Bad Mannered.

You can put on Ravens, but it's BM (especially, if you have stacked cold resists), because cold sorcs won't be able to harm you. Also, Life Tap is BM in 1on1 (Dracs + Exile). No need for a soj for a Smiter, go for 1 Raven, 1 Dwarf/Wisp/huge stat rare ring.

but then again so what if you bm?... i mean its a item why not use it up to its full ability.. cmon raven has 20 cold sorb for a reason so why not use it..

Yeah, absorb is fine if you want to lame in pubs, but no good dueler will take you on because of that. Essentially, it's you who's missing out.

max hit my light sorc can most of the time 1hit kill a smiter. if they super sorb they can get me though

ww sins "pwn" everyone? if you are east ladder, please feel free to try any of my chars...well, before they were stripped anyways...all thats left built is my sorc, but she will rip you to shreds and spit you out. the only char she hasnt owned yet is a wind druid, and thats at least partly because i havent fought one yet...still searching for someone to take me on :-/

but i dont see why you guys say ww barbs own smiters...the few times i dueled with my uber killing smiter, i didnt have a problem with them once i figured out the trick.

lets stop with the "ez pk" and the "gg" and the "pwn" guys...it just makes you sound retarded

a pure smiter will get raped by a ww barb, if the ww barb user is skilled. he can just ww away from the smiter everytime the smiter attempts to smite.
