i have a good hammerdin and an uber smiter and a ww barb that can all own in hell again monsters//ppl but i wanted to know what char to build next cuz i have plenty of xtra items to make another char but i want a good char that has max resis and high life in hell while doing good dmg. plz repost with ur choice and let me know if there is a guide on this site for that char type.

A char that can own in hell as your next char? That would be a PVM im guessing so... Hmmm ah, a cold or lightning sorc would be my choice. A good sorc with lightning and a nice fcr% with good lightning dmg would own. Then again so would blizz if u have good dmg for it. Mine would be either one of those.

Now if were getting into PVP I would pick a zon. A java zon. Get the nice light attacks for it. And it should own if you have really good dmg in duels. If you want to be one of tose " 1337 uber glitch" people then you can do that lol.

make a cs zon, and if u can afford, try to get these

Eth +4 TStrokes (never throw them)
-25/20 griffs
coh
-20/20 Jewelers Monarch of Deflecting (that mod with huge ass blocking bonus)
40/15 dungos
eth treks
Maras/highlords (depends if u have max res or not)
soj/soj or bk/bk
3/20 jav gloves

cta/spirit on switch obviously

farcast + 12k CS dmg + -65res to enemies + inf merc = diablo 2 doesnt exist ne more

if u can get these items, u can own even without farcast, but if u really wanna be unstoppable, farcast will do that, and an infinity merc too xD

thx for the help i guess i shall make a CS zon but what happens when i meet lightning immunes? is the dmg from tstroke alone enough to kill them

u get an infinity merc for immunes, the only way to remove a monsters immunity is by aura or by curse, no other way.

Druids are more for PvP than PvM. In PvM, they are for support (good tanks and have Oak).

If you want to own in PvM, yes make a Zon. For PvP an amazon is a nono, such as the build above. It will easily get obliterated by most proper PvP builds.

For PvP, go for Wind Druid or BvC.

By the way, L4E, I think that your build would be much better if you out a 15/40 in your Griffon, used Forti, eTitan's (a magical javeling with +6 Javelin and Spear on switch), Thundergods, Ravens and Highlord of course.

I tested that build in SP a while ago and it rocked.

well the point of my build is to have as much light dmg possible and as much -light dmg as possible. my zon doesnt even have half of what i mentionned and i still pwn all of hell with ease..

Yes, but it's a matter of combining damage with IAS. You may have psycho damage, but if you deal it out too slowly, there's no point. I think that in the build that I mentioned, you reach the 72% IAS breakpoint, or something (15/40 in Griffon [15], Titan's [20], Highlord [20], 3/20 gloves [20]). If your characters haven't been built to hit frames, they will suck hard (on most occasions). Also, you will only need 1 GC with 12%fhr. Combined with Treks, you will have reached the 32%fhr breakpoint, which is good enough for PvM.

By the way, "pwning hell with ease" is something that people should not have to mention about their chars, because otherwise they will just be garbage (unless they've been built for a specific purpose, such as Enchant or BO).

i dont see the point in using titans, they give no useful increase to ur dmg or ur ias that tstrokes cant match or beat (strokes has 15ias more).
And if u use tstrokes, u dont need to 40-15 ur griffs cuz u already have 15ias extra from the strokes.
then u just use highlords and the rest of the gear i mentionned... 72 ias bp reached, and as u said one 12%gc and treks and the 32fhr breakpoint is reached as well

plus with the things i mentionned (with gcs + torch anni) the zon does like 12-13k cs with -65res, thats like 20k cs.. PLUS infinity on ur merc.. PLUS there are like 11 bolts PLUS breakpoint reached.. and thats all

and when i say pwning hell with ease, notice the "pwning" which is a typo also used to describe kicking major ass, and ease, which doesnt just mean ease, it means 1 hit kill anything, and maybe a couple hits for killing baal.

Ok I see your point now, I got the facts slightly wrong, you had to reach the 52%IAS breakpoint (Titan's do not give IAS).

Still, I prefer Titan's over Thunderstrokes. They have an equal amount of skills as Thunderstrokes, +20 STR which is really useful if you are going to use either JMOD or Pheonix. Also, 1 point in DEX = 1%ed for Amazons, so +20 DEX on Titan's gives extra damage and ar, not even speaking of the fact that the physical damage on eTitan's is much greater than that of Thunderstrokes. Titan's also has 30%FRW, which is very useful on an amazon.

If you are going to rely on your merc at all, then the -%resi on your eq is not really important at all, so I would recommend Pheonix instead of JMOD (JMOD is for duelling, where there are no mercs). Then you can also use the 15%/40% in your Griffon, use Forti instead of Coh and combined with the ed% on Pheonix, your eTitan's will be doing a handy amount of physical damage, as well as light.

well thats all very true, but if u use farcast there is no physical dmg when u farcast, so all the bonus ed is pretty usless.
although u may have a point about the JMOD, but in that case a spirit would be better since it has some nice mods like skills res and fhr vita and mana
if u have passive skills then titans would be better since it gives +2 to all amazon. Well in the end almost any CS zon with infinity goes through hell like a knife through butter, so the details dont really matter, lol, all this argument over nothin xD
