What is the best char for someone with nothing? - Blizzard Sector

Yeah well to make it simple, all i have is the lil sword and buckler you start with when you start a new char, so i need to know what is the best to get good stuff without the rich stuff o.O

a hammerdin, basicly get urself to hell (somehow) and killd eldritch + shenk over and over again, or if u can manage to make mm.bot work use that, ull be rich in no time

i'd start with an mf sorc to find you stuff...probably the best character for you to play would be a summon necro though, they are easy

Summon necros are cake. I recently restarted, got my summon necro to do a few manual runs with meph/pindle/eldrich in NM, enough to make it easy for my Light MF sorc to get to hell easily.

i agree on the sorc part but if you are wondering what kind of sorc, id say either fb, or orb, or blizz, cuz you can always search for stuff at a later time..Ive always gone with my favorite..Fb sorc to start a new acct. because they are easily accomodated

barbs suck in any diff above normal if they dont have great gear

i agree blood, i do, but barbs can be a good aspect run with in the beginning..but when i first began, i think it was 1.09 they said barb was the most advance...they can do just about anything until act 4 then they have to take it careful..but who knows..im not sure anymore which charas are most advance in the newest version

If you have multiple keys, then start a CLASSIC sorc for grushing. Maybe you can get some friends for helping you with that.

If you don't want to do that, make a light sorc for mm.bot. MM wrote this tutorial for a light sorc working well with his bot.

Will be able to bot on Eldrtich and Pindle, main attack will be Lightning followed by
Chain-Lightning. Synergies are Lighning bolt, nova, lightning, and chain-lightning.
Other skill are 1 in Mana Shield and of course... max in Lightning Mastery.
1 point in warmth, 1 in Frozen Armor, to regen mana and protect you more.
Important tip when leveling such sorceress is mana need: do not put all point in
main attack skills (lightning, and chain-lightning.) but in other skills (especially Lightning
mastery) untill you got enought mana. This built should be completed at level 95.
Statistics are 1/3 Vitality & 2/3 energy & enought dexterity for 75% block with the
WISTAN set shield. I tested much lightning sorceresse with my bot, just know the 75%
Wistan one is a far away better.

Advices for items:
- Have at least 65% fast cast and 75% block with the WISTAN set shield
- You can also go for No dex and use unique grim shield Lidless wall...(not recommended)
- Have at least max resistances in lightning. Use charms for this if necessary.
- Mana charms can be required if you got very low items.
- For the rest you are free to apply tal armor/amu/belt, shako, wizzard spike.
=> Much possibilities, as i know good point for tal set is extra fast cast with armor+amu+belt :-)
=> This sorce got much mf, ideal botting character.

Example of a good not tal rasha built:
- Wizzard spike socketed IST (Leave away the IST rune)
- Shako socketed Perf topaz or UM (Shako with PTopaz)
- Ethereal Skullder armor Perf topaz or UM (Skullders with UM)
- Wistan guard, of course, with Perf Diamond or UM (PDiamond is enough)
- Tal Rasha belt (mods are nice) (agreed)
- Mara amulet (resists....) (Tal amu or rare +sorc skills res and mf/fcr)
- 2*10% Fast cast rings with mana/resists/stats/...etc... (agreed)
- WatTravellers boots - Or 25% MF rares boots :-) (agreed)
- Gloves are free; Chances guards or frostburn. (chancies if enough mana)
=> This sorce got arround 1700 mana and is basically unkillable, with mana shield.

The next build is too expensive for you i think ^^

Example of a goodly built:
- Hoto 40% all resists (20 dexterity is just damn good here)
- Shako 139+ defense socketed with IST
- Good Tal Rasha armor (> 930 def) socketed with IST
- Wistan guard, of course, with UM
- Tal Rasha belt 40+ defense with 15% MF (mods are nice)
- Tal rasha amulet
- 1*10% Fast cast rings with mana/resists/stats/MF
- 1*Unique ring: SOJ is nice, or maybe 30% MF unique nagel.
- 50% MF WarTravellers with good defense
- Chance guards or frostburn
=> This one will go for good damages & very good MF.

Note: CTA & INFINITY runewords can be used in mm.BOT.

I would say, Thunder Jav Amazon.
There lightning damage from the skill is pretty high and if you can get just Titan's which is pretty cheap you're pretty much set to do plenty of stuff. Espscially if you got a physical or different element merc.

I prefer using sorcs, simply because they have teleport and I can do runs fairly quickly. Plus, they can wear a decent amount of mf gear without shooting themselves in the foot too much damage-wise.

Well i started on 1.11 with a Blizzard Sorc ....she just wasnt fun...it wasnt enjoyable trying to dodge everything because you had no gear So i trashed her at like level 85 . Then i built a Lighting Sin and it was a blast. Pit runs were basically all i did and it was simple with lighting sentry

Shock Zealots and Nec Summoners are quite easy to do when not having any good equipment, but a Mf sorc could be another choice ( just start by mfing in nightmare, though. )
