mf help - Blizzard Sector

i have like 4 lvl 50 - 75 chars but i dont seem to get any good items is there any good and easy items that can help with mf plz

magic find must be at a very high percentage. and make sure you hunt in high profile areas, baal, diablo, countess.

I take it your not that rich. Well heres some items that would help
Cow King Boots
TarnHelm (prefferably perfect, 50% mf)
Nagel Rings (30 is perfect)
A magic find amulet (prefferably 20-30~)
ChanceGaurds
GoldWrap
Some magic find charms.
Make sure you can kill with those. You need to be able to kill. remember, if you cant kill anything with that,try taking some stuff off and using stuff you need.

any mf between 300-500% is more than enough mf remember blizzard put it so your mf will roll at sertian points

If your poor and just starting out you can just get like some Perfect Topazs and just put them in armor and helmet.

Use some crappy mf boots and what not.

Just make sure you MF at bosses like Mephisto Baal Diablo and such. Pindleskin in Act5 is good tOoO.

before the anti-bot patch, i ran an andy bot in NM and got about 2-3 sojs per night

Also, doing Countess runs in hell works. Shes located in this one tower thingy in the black Marsh. Try doing Countess runs.
ALso, if you like leveling, do Hell Baal games and kill baal at the end. he can drop some pretty decent stuff. Plus, it levels you like crazy.

mf has no rolling points... its called diminishing returns.. and that just means that your mf may be 500 and your unique find would be 200 and at 1000 mf your unique find would be only 250 or so.

I think 1000%MF is roughly 312 unique MF. Just off the top of my head though

I've tried hell countess several times and she's been immune to fire+cold each time, making her totally immune to my meteorb sorc.

Kill mephisto in NM untill you get better mf items.
Then you countiniue to kill him untill you get some good items for your character.
If you feel like it and can do it, then kill meph in hell instead.

I think I need help, because..

Here's my gear/etc:
ptopaz shako
occy
pdiamond lidless
+3 cold skills ammy
ptopaz skulders
39 chancies
2 nagelrings
tals belt
waterwalks

I had a wizspike and raven on her for teleing, but uh.. skills:

20 orb
20 fball
20 meteor
10 fmastery
4 cold mastery (working on it)

I find.. well, nothing! I can take hell meph if I tele right and get lucky, then do moat trick.. and nm is easy altogether: but I still haven't found ANYTHING better than the one lidless I found today. heh.

Am I just really unlucky or do I need to try something new? I've done at least 200-300 nm meph runs and probably 20 or so hell meph (substantially harder. meh)

just keep pounding. MF is a combination of gear, tactics, and gruntwork. The gear you have enough of, the tactics you can get here (i love the moat trick personally), and the gruntwork...well thats the easy part right? If you really want the gear, you'll be prepared for it.

Hahaha I figured. It's just a pain in the *** (I don't bot) and so I can be up all night sometimes doing NOTHING but plain MF and still come back with nothing.

Yet people can go out, do a single baal run and find 3 shaels 2 ums and a hoz. It's like.. yeah gg.

Back to MFing I suppose.

uhh, i have a recommendation for whoever needs it and a question for whomever can answer it: i'm a big countess fan, since she only takes a few minutes, is impossible to lose to with a hammerdin, and can drop ANY rune ... that means el-zod! so far i've gotten crap, but i'm wondering...does MF affect her rune drops? if it does, then i'm screwwwwwwwwwwwwed. : t'aint a whooole lotta good hammerdin mf gear...anyways, thanks.

MF has absolutely no effect on runes at all.
