Hey well im a hacker myself and i know how to use hero editor but, i still lose in duels.

You guys might have seen my thread here.

How do you create a good hacked pally?

I need some help with it.

I keep over hacking my items.

Please give me some information on what to put on my weapon, aromor etc.

Please some one tell me?

This information is all fine and dandy but could you post something about how to create the perfect hacked character or something?

I mean it is pretty dam easy to use it so why not make a guide on how to hack certain chars to be good dueling chars.

Oh and one more thing,


How do you change the little deamon spawn under the name?

Ive been wondering about that?

I have a question.... in the windows calculator how do you find out what to enter in the hex string? such as when you said 318 = 3E01 how would you find out a different number?

When making unique items and selecting there qualites, how do you get the items stts and such? Like do you have to add ALL the bonuses to a Unique item? Or is there a way where you can get the attributes to work when you click that certain item, cuz, I'm trying to make a char, for fun on Open with all the 'legal' items, like unedited and that +511%ed and such. Anytips? Anyone?

go to www.d2sector.net and go to where it say along the side "items" under the downloads section

then get item vault 1.1 or what ever it is and download then unzip it and u can export every unique in there to ur char

what about editing the level requirements for charms and armor and stuff? cuz i need to make some things and the level requirement is too high.

Hey Guys,

i'm from germany, so ma English is not as well as yours, but i hope that you can understand me...
I downloaded the Hero Editor v0.82, updated D2 on version 1.10 and tried to open one of my char's. Before i opened the char with the editor, the char was completely working on 1.10 without problems and when i open the char with the fero editor and save it afterwards, diablo says, that my data's are wrong if i want to play with that char. i haven't changed anything, no stats, no item, only opened the char and saved it afterwards and then i can't play again with this char. so what can i do? i haven't find anything yet to solve this problem, can anybody help me???

OK, well...I had this on my old comp before it died, and I'm trying to get it on this one. I've downloaded V.80 and tried to install it but it says I'm missing RICHED32.DLL and I've tried just to use V.82 but when I click to open it it says I'm mising MSSTDFMT.DLL, I don't understand what to do. I remember when I downloaded it on Exon Flux (Which has gone down, I guess?) I had to get required files, I downloaded some of those files I'm guessing from here in the download section today, but I have no idea if I need them or what to do with them. Any help?

ive seen and heard that you can have diablo fight for you and stuff, can anyone tell me what skill that is for make it into a charm for me so i can examine it and learn to do it for myself plz?

oh hey i remember having one of those the diablo rings when i played open bnet yea those were cool i losed that char though so i couldnt help you there but my question is when ur naming items why is it u have to keep the first 2 letters?

the boss and critter skills? those hmm. i dont use em. i put one on an item. but didnt do anything so i just dont use em. i only hack to duel. and i only cheat to get legit. basicly they are the skills monsters and bosses use in the game. i dont think you can use em but hey ive never really put time into trying it.

same with me. just use 0.80. its basically the same as .82 just uh .82 has uh i dunno whats different with it. just use 0.80. just as good.

First of all great work on the editor !

I do have a quick question for you guys, after all I did with my character my life is still around 20000. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I did use all the Life and vitality bonus on all my equipment and charms. My life is something like this 20000/145000 and if I go see a healer or take a potion i'm still stuck at 20000. The same thing did not append with my mana... I did some hex editing with C++ in the past and have had the same kind of problem (I was not able to get past 32000 of life). I know there must be some way to get more life points so any help from you would be appreciated !

I believe Diablo only recognizes/shows lp to a certain point in the ball. It should say in your chacater section your "true" lp while the ball will only show the max it can recognize. But I could be wrong.

Thanks Sinner for your answer, I know about the ball (the max is 32750 or something like that), my problem is that even on my character stats it's showing life around 20000. One thing I'm wondering is how much HP can you actually have. Is it possible to have like 1 million HP?? Is there a max?? If not how can a boost my HP?

2-3 million, sweet... I was pretty sure it was possible since I have like a couple of millions points in attack rating and defence.

Thanks for letting me know, now I just need to find what I'm doing wrong...I should maybe put more points in my vitality....I got something like 10000 right now, I guess I should take that up to a couple of million too...

screw vitality dude go to the stats bar and put in max life % an max mana % also put life and max mana in.

you dont need defense or attack rating either.
