hi, im new to here. i have downloaded the Hero editor v.80 beta for 1.10 n installed it everything was fine before i loaded my new made lvl 1 character. After i loaded my new made lvl 1 character, there were something popped up sayin unknown stats found:515 or something like that. I just kept clicking ok until all the messages were gone and now i could start editing the character but after i clicked save, n i started my diablo 2 LOD 1.10, i couldnt see my character anymore when i want to load ? can someone please help me with this? i was trying to find a thread like this but i couldnt so maybe this problems been solved somewhere else but please i really want to get this awesome editor to work :

heres something : when u try and make ur character really good and u edit those stat points making them all 1027 or whatever when u go to stat points remaining u can only do 1027 don't do 40239492 or whatever so just make ur stat points 1027 to make it simple for urself

well i know that but when i first make a fresh character in diablo2 LOD then i quit the game. i start the zonefire editor to start modifying everything after i quit. Then, when i click OPEN button on the bottom left corner, n i select the character i just made in d2 LOD, it pops up those error messages. Do you know how to prevent this happening? it happens before i start modifying the fresh new lvl 1 character

try editing something fast ,, save,,, then hit reload and see if it works then ,, after reload and thers no error messages ur character should work

yea i hitted reload the error messages are still there and now i cannot see the character in diablo2 lod now u guys dont have the problem when first loading a fresh lvl 1 character? i mean the error message. thx for ur help though :)

hmm whats the error message say? are u missing somefiles?

nope im not missing any files at all. Its saying Unknown Stats Found: 415 for example. Thats 1 of the error messages. Another one is like Trying to process items from unknown location or something that do with the potions u get at the beginning in the game. I need to go into the game to drop those potions to prevent that error messages showing up but the unknown stats i dont know what to do. Its pretty weird.

hmm ... download those lvl 99 naked characters then load them they worked for me let me try and find the file name hang on

just to clear something up... eric, do you know that these editors are for single/open chars only?

well its kinda obvious that its only for open and single player cuz in closed u don't see some guys with a hacked up sword guard for a belt or armor (which i see in open)

you never know, some noobs think these editors ARE for closed.

yea well they might but he says WHEN he loads is the problem not using characters

he said after he loads and gets through the problems, then edits the character, then loads d2, he cant find the character. so either he forgot to save or hes looking on closed.

i just think u get those error problems cuz u installed it wrong or maybe they don't allow a way u edited ur character

all you have to do is: (based on winzip, if you dont have it, go to www.download.com and search for winzip)
-download the editor
-unzip it to whatever folder you installed it to
-open the files it poppes out
-follow the readme (if there is one)
-then go from there.

well eric the zonfire 99 edition works for me so i dunno whats going on with urs im just guessing u installed it wrong or ur doing something really wrong and it has errors with it

yeah probably i just relized u guys zonefire all works fine but me n my friend have encountered the same problems when loading a lvl 1 character in single player mode. Anyways, is it ok for u to send ur version of zonefire to me? that would be great. Besides, do you know where u can download naked lvl 99 character? i was trying to find one earlier today but couldnt find it .In addition, yes i did install everything correctly. : thx for the help i really appreciated
