Barbarian The king of close quarter combat, they don’t come more vicious than the savage Barbarian. The Barbarian has more weapons and armour options that any other character. There isn’t much subtlety to this class, as it basically revolves around being in a position to get close enough to something to hack it open.

Default bezerker pvp barb? - 10-31-2007, 07:28 PM

i was wanting to know if this might be a viable option because i am noob when it comes to barbs, so i thought it might be something to try instead of the ww barbs that everyone makes.

stats: meh stats on every build are the same

skills: not nesisarily in this order but yeah
max zerk
max bo
max shout
max axe mast
1 bash (prereq)
1 stun (prereq)
1 conc (prereq)
1 iron skin
1 nat res
1 battle command
rest howl(synergy to bezerk)

gear:
helm: arreats - anyother options i should look at?
armor: fort - does the ed add to zerk damage?
wep: doomz- i have one laying around, will it work or should i go for like greifz or ebotdz?
shield/wep: ss? phoenix? or should i use annother weapon such as beast for fana?
switch: 2x echoing weapons
gloves: dracs - or should i use steelrends?
belt: dungos - i dont see any other viable option here
rings: 2x angelic or raven/angelic?
ammy: angelic
boots: gores
inv: as many charms as i feel like affording, including torch and possibly anni.

will this build be viable for pvp? i like the idea that it does lots of magic damage. any suggestions on where to improve on this build would be greatly appreciated.

lld barbs as in ww barbs (Kitty ;D) if you play west lld. will own that char considering most use dual spirit on switch and with you having 0 def cause of zerk gg? and zerk is a magic dmg so all physical dmg doesnt count. for weapon i suggest picking something that will be fast for a quick kill. and thats my .02 cents

never thought about lld and spirits, but im not real big in lld so thats proally why. But my biggest question is about my weapon choice, i have a doom already so i would like to use that, but if the whole idea of doom and bezerk i would like to know, and if i should be using a shield or annother weapon

berserker barbs cant really hold their own in duels these days considering the large amounts of bvc/smiters/any sorc/trapper/wind druid/hammer/foher etc.. they all have a clear advantage over berserker barb

and yea maybe doom is the choice to go but good luck dueling :\ oh and i just noticed howl? lol
