Thinking of changing my current wolf barb into runner.

Current Setup:

Maxed: Battle Orders, Shout, Iron Skin, Sword Mastery
Couple points in: natural res
Single pointers: increase speed's

gear:

Helm: Ofc Wolfhowl
Armour: Duriels Curiass
Belt: IK
Gloves: IK
Boots: Treks
Rings: 1 Raven, 1 Angelic
Amy: Angelic / +3 Warcry's for bo

weapon set 1: 2x +3 warcry Spears
weapon set 2: Lightsabre + Storm

theory: Exchanging the current gear for standard zmite gear (last wish, fort/Coh/Duress Phoenix, gores & Dracs) do you think that it might be possible to do with a wolfbaba?

I'm thinking of test running them and obviously I need to fulfill the criteria (LT, stacked res, CB and life) but I think it would be possible. Has anyone here attempted or can place an educated guess on the success rate of such a hairbrained idea?

In theory, it can be done with a wolf, however, I'd like to see the face of the moron that would give you LW, CoH, etc for the garbage that you listed above... A Wolf is not a poor man's option. Also, LW is a bad choice, it's too slow. Go for eBOTD TM, Grief BA or eTomb Reaver.

Success rate with current list of gear will be 0.

Let me know if you really are interested in this and how rich you are. Your typing was very incomprehensible, but if you want to make a Wolfbarb, let me know and I'll see what I can type up.

In the post I meant that the gear I have at the moment would be scrapped and new items bought and nice idea with the Ebotd / Grief.

Regarding the point about richness, I (as in real life) am not especially rich, i would estimate that through all the runes/items available for trade, i would probably have enough for 3/4 hr (Europe's so damn expensive).

Finally about the writing being incomprehensible, please advise? was it that hard to understand or was it just poorly organised???

I would appreciate a guide but nothing too time consuming just a 2/5 min explanation, by PM if you wish on what you would do as your (as is everone else's) opinion is valued.

I know Europe's expensive, I also play there. For the stuff that you listed, you wouldn't get a Pul rune, not even speaking of an HR. I'd say, scrap the idea for now and make a MF sorc, you'll never be able to get all the gear that you will need for a barb that can do Trist. The stuff that you need is very expensive.

could one perhaps use a demon/hydra faith and stack damage auras with IAS? Using faith gives great AR, chance to reanimate, +skill but the damage would be kinda meh. Which is why u give your might merc a pride. This way u have all 3 damage auras going at once. If you use a demon faith your looking 2x base speed of PB Grief, with much better AR, throw in some sharp gcs and highlords ammy and go to town.

hmmm i wonder if can do some of diablo trist summons are phyical immune would you be able to kill of these summons???

You have to rely on Pheonix and Torch to do the fire damage.
You can add poison sc' to kill the physical immunes. But then again its pretty rare that you run into one. Unless your Uber Tristing everyday.
