Longer wepon, Better WW? - Blizzard Sector

You know how in Diablo 2 Untimate Starategy guide is says that with a ww barb, if you use a long wepon you will hit more monsters when you ww. Is this true? Because im trying to pick from eth 415% cb or eth 415% zerk, ive always used zerker, but with this new info i just found, im haveing trouble picking, Also, what kind of barb build is best for uber trist? i want my barb to be able to clear it by him self, because most of my friends are never on.

During whirlwind if you have a longer weapon such as a Colossus Blade you have more range.

Dring whirlwind if you have a Berserker Axe you will have less range, but you will "spin" faster, therefor having more chances to hit during your whirlwind.

i looked on the arreat summit and both weapons are listed having 3 range.

i don't recommend soloing it yourself, always have a standby friend to help you out in case you get stuck

Yes longer weapon=More range but less IAS unless you got some badass weapon

i don't know if barbs can really solo but bash/stun MIGHT work

I dont believe barbs can do trist, but ive seen them do the small ubers.

They can't do lilith though.

i kill lilith easy. and i kill all uber trist solo sep for meph, i need better res.

yeah barbs can take lilith, mine can anyways. Maybe try a con barb with lastwish(for lifetap+ crushing blow) with 90-100% crushing blow and you'll have high enough defense from concentration. just pack your inv. with all res scs. making a barb that can solo uber trist would be a lot more expensive than making a smiter that can solo uber trist if you ask me.

How close are you to being max resists? Also having a friend with an oak sage druid would help. Some items with good poison resists and lighting resists for meph are carrion wind ring, wisp projector, sandstorm treks and tgods

I use a maul. Even if you have a better range, you want to be able to spin faster and inflict as much damage as possible. I would just go with the strongest weapon you can find.

That's retarded, because WWing with 2 weapons gives you double damage. Go for either Death, Grief, Beast or BOTD Berserker Axes. Amazing range with godly damage.

edit: not trying to flame, but why do you call yourself d2godly? You don't know anything about the game.
