Orange's Trav Gold Find Barb!

1337-Orange's Gold Find Barb!

Personally, Gold find barbs are one of my favorite characters. They basically rock. You get gold and you can sell the gold or gamble it.

Skills:

20 Find Item - You use this after you kill travincal
20 Battle Orders - More Life
20+ Into Natural Resists - For Resists...
10+ into Shout - More Defense
10+ into Iron Skin - Couldn't Hurt
3+ to Leap (Your main attack)
1 into Battle Cry - You can use this to lower defense of the Council
1 Battle Command - For that one more skill
1 to Berserk
1+ into Icreased Speed - Who doesn't wanna run faster?
With left overs put into iron skin or shout your choice. I went shout so i can be helpful to others.

Equipment:

Armor - Wealth Mage Plate - 300% Gold Find (Lem-ko-tir)
Helm - Lem'ed Crown Of Thieves
Weapons - 2 2 Lem'ed Ali Baba's (You can also go 6 Lem'ed crystal Sowrds but i like the Mf from baba's)
Switch - 2 3 bo Sticks
Belt - A good rare belt with useful mods and 70+ Gold Or Goldwrap
Gloves - Chance Guards (200 GF and Mf)
Boots - Infernostride or good rare GF boots. (Inferno's have plus max fire resists as well as GF)
Rings - 2 Dwarf Star's (Fire Sorb and 100 GF)
Amulet - Rare 2 Barb skill 70+ Goldfind with resists (I use one w/o barb skill. Has 70 GF and 20 Resists)
Edge Bow in stash - 15 Reduced Vendor (Perfect for gambling)

Merc - This is were it counts. He does all the killed when you are using leap:

Armor - Wealth or EBug Fort (I went with fort cause of damage and good defense/resists)
Weapon - EBotd Warpike (Good Damage)
Helm - Lem'ed Crown Of Thieve's (More GF)

With this setup you should have 2k plus Goldfind at 85. You will be finding between 300k - 900k gold a hell trav run.

Stash:

Barb Torch
Anni
Grand, Large, and small Charms of Greed (for more GF)
Gheeds with high Gold Mf and 15 Reduced

Personally, i dont have much in my stash because i like to pick up more items to sell for even more gold.

Stats:

Strength - Enough for Gear
Dex - Enough for Gear
Vita - All Rest
Energy - None...

Strategy:

You will be doing runs in hell trav. Your merc will be killing for you. You go to trav Wp and bo your and your merc. Then run to where the monsters are, if your merc doesnt follow you go into Durence then back to trav. Hop around using leap and let your merc kill. You can also use Battle Cry to lower their defense. Your runs should last around 3-4 Min. After all are dead use find item to "pop" the corpses to find more gold and items.

Now, sometimes there is a Phys immune in the bunch. You have 3 Choices: One is to leave the game, Two is to carry a Amplify Wand on switch, and three is to take the offensive and use your merc's Ebotd to kill him using berserk.

This is my Barb Kanak. He is lvl 87 in UswestHcL. Yes Hardcore.

Great idea but your guide is lacking, your missing charms perhaps 10 gold find scs with other usful mods? Also, instead of an amp wand you can use eth reapers toll with its 33 chance to cast decrep it will remove physical immune. Also, why one into spear mastery? I like the idea overall and now that I've seen this guide I'm going to make one myself and gamble circlets.

Charms of greed.

About the spear mastery is warpike is a spear and i steal it from my merc to kill phys immunes. Ive never really used Reapers Toll but amp wand or using berserk is fine.

Oh and btw it is a might merc and its aura isnt on. It gets around 10k damage max with it.

Use one hoto / warcry spear or something instead of 2x 3+ bo ctas. The +1 skills on them doesn't stack, you only get 7 not 8. So just use something cheaper

With my barb i dont have bo sticks / hoto i use a +4 skill ondals. I dunno why i just like it.

Yeah, you'd think using loaders would make it easier to trade for shit I have 4 loaders in 4 different games and I still dont have all my gold find barbs shit yet. Wow I hate trading. I also went for goldwrap because it has 70 goldfind and decent mf and ik helm because it has two open sockets 25-40 mf and 37 gold find, going to lem it twice for 137 gold find. I'm going to be mfing and gold finding with this so I think the tradeoff for ik helm of 20 extra gold find from lemd crown of thieves is worth the tradoff for the mf ik helm gives.

The thing with CoT is it has 33 extra fire resists. I dunno what your resists are gonna be but it is helpful to have some stacked incase of Convic. Well at least for me cause i play Hc only.

With this i also have 325 Mf at lvl 87
