Default do traps strike? - 01-13-2007, 08:56 AM
everyone should know by now that fcr doesnt do crap to traps because traps are an attack like a punch or a kick. ok so my question is can the traps be considered as a strike when the person or monster your fighting sets it off and gets hit by the trap?

reason why i asked..i alway see things like % chance to cast level # so and so when striking and since traps are considered as an attack why couldnt this be possible? know what i mean? thanks advance

Traps are minions. They are not affected by any gear that you're wearing once they've been laid.

So no, it doesn't work.

Precisely. However, assa WhirlWind and trap laying have different IAS% breakpoints. Just pointing it out, in case you are going for a hybrid.
