Pvp Light Assasin Guide by Pots - Blizzard Sector

I didn’t see a pvp lightsin guide in the sin char develop section so I was like heck ima make a guide for my personal favorite char for pvp. Light assasins practically pwn in pvp if their equips are nice and they hit the necessary ias,fhr, and ias. There’s really not much to explain about how sexy lightsins are in pvp. With the ability to teleport very quickly and to be able to lay traps down quickly enough, and with the most overused skill mindblast, anything is possible. You’ll be racking up kills in no time. (unless you duel someone with wisp or all those chars who hit took the time to have the necessary fhr to escape mb. Well on with the guide.

*this is a hoto+spirit lighttrapsin for the poor who cant afford gg claws

strength: enough to wear monarch
dex: none
vit: rest of your points go in here. pump this like crazy as the more points you have in here, the longer you'll live
energy: none…if you put a single point in here just delete your sin and start over. Not a single drop in here.

max light sentry
max death sentry
max charged bolt sentry
max shock web
1 to mind blast or more if you wish. This is going to be one of your most important skill.
1 to burst of speed you need this to cast to have max ias for quick laying traps
1 to shadow master …nice to have around when you duel
1 or more to fade as it gives you res….what everyone needs in pvp. But remember its fade or burst of speed. You can only use one at a time
1 or none in cloak of shadows, I personally don’t like using it but some like it because of -def

Sexy Equips

helm: shako or a sexy sin helm with +2sin skils fhr and fcr and res. (no griffs cause its said it doesn’t improve your dmg..someone confirm this)
armor: mage plate enigma
weap: hoto….fcr +skill +res..only choice here (we’re not dual claw sins)
shield: a nice spirit shield. At least a decent fcr.
Switch: cta and spirit of course
gloves: blood first (ias and fhr) or magy for +20fcr +mana regen or trangs +20fcr +cold res
boots: treks with at least 15/15 stats
belt: Arachnid or 15%dr dungos
rings: 2x 10%fcr rings w/ str/dex/resist mods or sojs if you wanna gg dmg
ammy: maras or a nice trap ammy (+2 +10fcr and some other nice mods)

stash=anni with decent stat, sin torch, and 9trap gcs, and 20lifer or res scs.

is there a reason that you are using a claw and shield over dual claws? is it better or what?

you can always keep some good claws in stash like 2x +2 Sin +3 Light sentry 2 soc claws socketed with shaels just incase you want some pure damage then you can pump the rest of your skill pts into weapon block since its way better then putting dex for max blocks

Hoto isn't very good, you could get Witch-Hunters Greater Talons of Swiftness with two open sockets have gfg claw block alot of ias for laying traps alot more damage and about the same resist as a hoto.. but no fcr for mb you'll need godly fcr amulet and rings and if you can afford it, wizardspike gloves for good mb lock.

Extremely weak. I'll go through a few points:
1) Max block with Spirit takes ~400 DEX. HUGE WASTE.
2) Dual Claw > HOTO + Spirit any day, so I wouldn't see why you would use them in the first place.

Oh well anyway, sorry buddy, but your knowledge regarding PvP or trappers seems to be virtually 0. Play around a little before you write a guide. As far as I remember, the point behind writing a guide is to help other people, however you are not doing this, as you don't even know what you are talking about.

Yeah he is right i really didnt want to say that since it would be really mean but yeah man...max block will be a huge waste and 2 claws? why 2 claws if you arent going to ww... Might as well be ww/trapper.

2 claws for more damage, faster IAS%, other gosu mods, sockets and block. HOTO and Spirit don't come near to those.

um thx for all your comments. well frater i did make a trap sin that i personally found good with all the nice res. im sorry that i put spriit as a shield for max block as i forgot that it takes alot of dex. ill take a look into the ww/trapsins....srry if i made anyone made -_-

res can be shitty and those claws require a lot of strenth/dex... its your opinion i think if its worth using dex for claws then do it... but like i said if your gonna use claws be ww/trap

Socket with -15%req/15@ jewel if you have enough IAS or with 15%IAS/15@ jewel if you don't have enough IAS%.

Because of Fade, resis are not a problem.

Claw Trapper > Shield Trapper any day.

tatoes, that build is Xactly the same as how i made mine except in rings i use 1x soj & 1x BK i have noo need for fcr rings

frater, with this gear im still hitting 12k dmg and ive found that my sin pwns without the claws, i win most of my duels, but i admit my sin cant take a hit pretty much one WW on me and im gona thats why i lay my traps and tele around them so guy walk into to them and it usually obliterates them.
she may not be perfect but she usually gets the job done.
this build does work.

It's like thinking that you're good because you can kill a IK barb. Any decent dueler will tear you apart.
