Something i like to do in this game is try some new things, i have no idea if this is an old idea, or if it has never been done before, but i was thinking and came out with this.

At lvl 77( or 80 without hell radament and izual)

20 - tiger strike
20 - Dragon tail
5 - Burst of speed
20 - venom
20 - claw mastery
1 - cobra strike
1 - dragon talon
1 - fade
1 - dragon claw

the basic idea behind this character is massive fire damage from dragon tail. with ik boots with lvl 20 tiger, and lvl 20 dragon tail, the assasin will do about 10-13k dmg. Of coarse to do that, you have to charge tiger strike to 3rd level first. So you hit 3 times with tiger, kick, repeat. and if you get in a bind, use cobra strike for some quick hp regen.

for stats i'm still debating. you'll need some good vitality for hp, but you need atleast 105 dex to use jade talon or battle cestas. If you are lucky enough to have shadow dancers, you'll need about 160 str. 0 stats into nrg.

The venom is there mostly so you can do damage while charging the tiger, however it might do well to get Weapon block to 20 you can get more skill points for tail and tiger from weapons, such as 2 jades for +100 resistance and more martial arts skills (of course with a nice shield, who really cares).

after level 77, i'm still wondering. a few stats into mind blast might work well, maybe some more into BoS, or Blades of ice for some slow down.

Another iffy part about this build is the damage. it says 10-13k, but does it really do it. is the 10-13k the damage in a 4 yrd radius, or the damage to the first monster only, with a much weaker damage for the rest of the monster. I would imagine that the first monster experiences both physical and fire damage, but do the rest only get fire damage, or is it 50/50 like corpse explosion.

I'm not a rich person on ladder, i figured ik gloves and boots for ias and some extra life, dex and str, strings for life leech and DR, Vampgaze for more leech, and DR, jade talon instead of bartucs and battle cestas for the resistance, spike thorn for more DR (and i don't have a SS), griswold with 3 prubies for life again, ravenfrost because getting frozen will own you, and some life leech with resistance ring i found, along with a rare 2 to assasin skills with resist amulet. If you have money, i'd go with shadow dancers, Storm shield, jade, maras, keep the strings and vampgaze for the DR, and some nicer rings like bulkathos or somthing, or resistance rings if you use battle cestas. it is key to have good boots, duh because the damage from kick is based on it.

If this is for pvm, I think you'll do okay. You'll be able to kill things that arent fire immune. But, if you're thinking of doing any pvp with this char you stand no chance. If you're gonna use claw/claw you need weapon block. If you're using claw/shield you're wasting too many points on dex that could go into your vit.

1-5 Fade(depending)
20 Claw Mastery
20 Weapon Block
1-20 Mind Blast

Cheap gear: Gaze, Ik boots + gloves, 2x bartucs, any decent ammy, 2 ravenfrost, any decent armor(smoke runeword works alright), string of ears/verdungos.

Stats:
Str: 79
Dex: 79
Vit: Everything else
Energy: None

You'll have 60% block. Stun with mind blast, tele in with Dragon flight, talon for the win.


Revision for pvm:
Probably drop venom completely, it doesnt add THAT much. Add max weapon block.

Same gear as above except one raven frost and one dual leech ring. Same stats.
