How does everyone get their enigmas, and what is the fastest way? If trading, did you trade for the pieces (runes and socketed armor) or for the entire thing? What did you trade for it?

Post here. I'm looking for the fastest/easiest way in which I can get an enigma.

What I did to get mine was I made a Pure Lightning Sorc which used to go Rune hunting. I killed the Countess cause she isnt Light Immune and I usually get a good rune from her then I merge them to get Higher Class runes which I then use to trade for Items and other such things as Enigma's

I got an enigma for a widowmaker, which I got for a stone. Guess it was my lucky break.

This thingie for an Enigma???!!!

i have a *****in way to get any runeword u want ladder or non whatever u want. lol i just dont have the cdkeys to do it lol :( What u do is make a classic char who can rush. (like a blizz or orb sorc). Then make a char who can tank hell travincal and river of flame on xpac. use multiple cdkeys to rush lvl 1's on classic with ur sorc to act 3 hell, convert to xpac, finish off with ur tank, get their forges, rinse repeat. when i do with my friend usually takes about 30 minutes to do the classic rush. so if u have 2 comps, u can rush a full game of lvl 1's for forges. 7xnm forges and 7xhell forges in under an hours work, not bad in my book. Also, the first game u make with the lvl 1's on xpac must be hell, or ur F***** lol.

Why must it be hell?

Well my friend told me the reason it has to be hell is because if u make on norm , u wont be able to go to nightmare untill u pass baal quest, and if u make nightmare first, u wont be able to go to hell. So what we always do is make hell, get forge, make nm get forge, delete char, or use up all its sockets n stuff. It may not be true, but i havnt bothered possibly wasting a char on testing it.

Anyone got their Enigma manually?

My friend is letting me borrow a nigma till I get my own. I got a lvl 85 pally that does hell rushes for forge and i collect runes, after a while you will end up with some nice ones that you can trade for some good stuff. My pally is wearing low hoto, umed shako, wirefrleece nigma, hoz, +2pally skills ammy, sandstorm treks, magefists, two sojs, tgods. I dont have spider on him yet but he does me good for now. I get a couple ists from hell rushes and after a while u can get a lot of nice stuff with them.

haha ive never own a enigma in my whole d2 career, and i have a lotta shit too...man im sad.

I got my enigma with my FI barb. He has 20 pts on concentration, 20 pts on Find Item and some other attacks also has 5 or 6 pts in them (sword mastery has 20 too btw) In hell, just go itemhunting and then, "find item" to increase the chance.

Well to get my enigmas, I usually find or trade for the 3 soc armor, and I trade for the runes. Ehh well, guess im trying to say that i trade for my enig.

i heard the other day that i could get a low nigma for my ik armor? true?!?!
