i dont think bnet would ever ip ban, since your ip adress is changed every time your power off your modem and computer.

they used to ip ban all the time. now they go for account ban which is the worst since you cant get it back.

They just ban cd-key i think. But they also ban accounts now so botting can be a bit dangerous. You take a risk everytime you try.

yeah unlikely they will detect it, blizzard has too much to do with the new ladder comming up, they better add new runewords (perhaps one for each char class) or new items.
