OK I just started playing diablo 2 and I found these items that do nothing. like unidentified ring and amulent and stuff but I dont knonw how to use them. I went to a store and found out there worth a lot and sold a ing for 900 but...should I save the rest?Will they have more value later?

Couple more things,
If I put on the expansion pack will I have to start a new charcter all over?

roflmao they are unidentified, use a scroll of identification on them... and 900 aint much... and they arnt worth anything

Yeah identify them but you may want to keep them based on their properties. And they could be worth more after you identify them though. Sometimes they are worth less than the scroll you used to identify them but at times they are worth a lot more. If you complete the Tristram quest Cain will be in town and will identify all items for free. Until then just pick up the scrolls you find and only buy them when you have to.

If you install the expansion you can still play Classic D2 but you can use a certain option on character selection screen to convert the character to an expansion character.

900 is nothing lol...u can get up to 35k....

noobish? whats wrong with him asking a question? im sure you were probably stumped on how to idenfty the "magic" items just as he is when you first started, he is new to the game so just stop critisizing
