The only thing good about Condition Zero is that it has single player capabilities, which gets boring. But with the CTs having riot shields the game is so unbalanced it's rediculous.

I own condition zero, it's an excellent game. I had cable when I had plain cs, then I had 56k and couldn't play online at all (1000+ pings, YECH) then I got dsl, as I have now. During the whole 56k phase I played CS:CZ to keep my sanity. I'd say you should go get it, it had a tour of duty mode and many other things that will keep you playing it for a long time. I especially like how the bots talk over the mic, makes me feel like I'm in a Tom Clancy novel.

ya.. the a.i suck.. i just use scout and kill them b/c they are dumbasses..:p

Hmm... I have never seen the AI act retarded... Worst I've seen is camping bots sometime listen and aim at the sounds of people's footsteps... They act just like real people most of the time, and usually better (actually listen to your commands)

Shields are one of the easiest things to fight against, unless there's guys with machine guns behind them. But one shielder, throw HE or flash then see if he runs. Obviously, if he moves the shield mow him down. If not, rush at him, once you're close switch to knife and finsish him. (Move in a circle around him, like you were playing MechWarrior :-) )

: :Haha, you really can't compare this to Mechwarrior (I love that game, I own every single Mechwarrior game). Shields are easy to defeat by yourself, but with support, they are incedibely annoying.
