have you ever heard of multi tap?, turns 1 port into 2 ports for the playstation, therefore, only 4 ps2's required to play socom with 16 ppl

Well as I've said I have both and I prefer my X-box. If it weren't for Final Fantasy I'd throw out my PS2.

In the end, people with Playstation, think that its better, people with xbox think that its betterhave you even looked at Gran Tourismo 4?, that game pwns the xbox's graphics, and i read an article, and it only uses 25% of the ps2 graphic compacity, also, the ps3 will be whats called a cell, its 10 cpu's that all have a different job, and then they feed into a main cpu

it is a driving game, which isnt one of my favs, but i do like speeding around and wiping out all over the track every once in awhile

Ok mpeck, it's proven that the X-box has a more powerful engine than the PS2. If you look at statistics and benchmarks X-box is much better. That game is more based on that it's a good company making it and they have the ability to smooth out the graphics. Go look at some of the cinematics for Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic, the graphics on those are awsome and Bioware didn't even spend too much time with them. Seriously racing games always have pretty good graphics cause they aren't really many other aspects of the game for them to focus on. Most have an engine that the company has been using for years so it's mostly a matter of throwing in some special features and updated physics then polishing up the graphics.

i wish mac made a system, then again it would put every other system outta business. only reason people think xbox is good, is because its made by microsoft, then again thets why i dont like it.

I hate mac, not nearly as cutomizable as a pc. And they probably wouldn't put anyone out of business if they made a console. Right now Sony holds too much sway on the gaming community and with Microsoft in there now I doubt they would make a very big dent.

Mac would never make a console...there computer isnt even for gaming anyways..and i bet it would suck if they made one.

haha, sure you might not be able to get custom cases for a mac, but then again, what else(other then games) can you do on a pc that you cant do on a mac, o yeah, bill gates bought into mac too, goes to show the pc god wants some make some profit off of mac too

who the hell would buy something made by bill gates, did anyone read that he just created the xbox because he was losing major money to the ps2 when it was about to come out. i mean one or two microsoft versions are ok, but the rest. *shudder*

I don't buy a product because of who made it (unless it's a quality issue) and the motives behind making them don't really matter to me as long as I'm satisfied with the product so go to a Linux forum where they might care about your Gates bashing.

Jeez, do any of you guys understand the real technical facts about PS2 and Xbox? Xbox clearly has a twice as better Graphics Proccessor, then any console out right now!
