Nubli 06-25-2004, 01:59 AM maybe, maybe not. theres a thread around here somewhere telling you how to fix that problem. go find it :) Warslut 06-25-2004, 03:26 AM Might be firewall... if u have dialup.. connect... to net... Goshin 06-25-2004, 03:21 PM I have cable internet so i dont think it will be a firewall and were abouts would this post be telling me how to fix it? Bowbow 06-25-2004, 04:06 PM Try logging on by going to start, run, type in Telnet, then i forgot the rest, lol sry. Go to battle.net/support and check it out, it will tell you the Telnet line and just run that. If that doesnt work, then send a help message to bnet. If telnet does work, then it must be your d2. Reinstall d2 and try it again.
Or go to Start - Run - type in : Regedit, go to hKEY_Local Machine-Software-Battle.net - Delete that whole file. Now try logging into d2 hexpain 06-25-2004, 06:06 PM Yes, you were using mh or some kind of hack , happened to me when it sais accessing account , that meens its gone man sry logic. 06-25-2004, 06:38 PM using mh has nothing to do with it...
make sure ur internet connection is connceted
and chek if ur browser is working
and if it still doesnt work its and ip ban.. wait bout 10 minutes... Goshin 06-26-2004, 03:32 AM I was using mH before all this started happening and i dont think it is a ip ban but ill try what u said bowbow.
If anyone else has anymore ideas on how to fix this problem then plz post them here.
Well the one were u said type regedit didnt work ill try to find other lol this sucks
Well nither of those work any other suggestions? Muderman24 06-26-2004, 08:35 AM I have cable internet so i dont think it will be a firewall and were abouts would this post be telling me how to fix it?
well if your firewall is not letting it connect on bnets ports then it could be your fiewall hexpain 06-26-2004, 04:33 PM :( No, it is the ip ban man , same thing happened to me dude...stops at accessing no way to stop it, on b.net it sais no way to stop to where it sais accessing account or finding quikest server, i had to buy a new ip Bowbow 06-26-2004, 05:46 PM ehh, the Regedit command worked for me, sry duno what else. Theres always the option of reformationg your comp, or system recoverying it a week back , might help. Or just send a help mail to Bnet and dont mention anything about mh. Goshin 06-29-2004, 02:52 PM ya i dont know im thinking about just getting a new comp and ****ing this one "take it out back and shot it" thx for all your help anyways.
peace out blinky8225 07-15-2004, 10:24 PM I have this same problem kind of. Mine stops at connecting to fastest server... though. It gives a message about being unable to connect and viewing the tech support site. I was using a maphack too. So wouldn't i be ip banned or my cd key being disabled? Since i connect over dial-up though my ip changes everytime i connect and i have tryed different cd keys so i do not know whats wrong.
