try getting spybot search and destroy,

its a great lil software that is actually really good at getting ride of spyware on ur system.. should help, alwayz does for me except for the one that it doesnt seem to catch (wont catch it on about 10 computers that ive seen, we cant even find it in our registry)

edit- if ur using IE.. try clearing your cookies, it helped me quite often..

Windows XP:

Start>Control Panel>Add Or remove programs and look for things that look like that.

And consider using something else than IE, if that's what you're using.

i use lavasoft's adware it really helps in removing those pesky auto install toolbars and other crap like that,

maybe deleting cookies, temp files and clearing history?

most extreme thing u could alwayz do is Format C: in dos ;) but.. hmm, just look around on google, they should have some info on there too that might help

lol reformatting deletes all your info... not a wise choice if you have valuable stuff on your computer.

i shouldave watched out with my last posts.. alot of ppl who are computer illiterate couldva just went ahead and do it!

its like making a batchfile with format c: /..(forgot the whole command) posting it on a site saying its a duping software. see how many ppl would fall for it:)

back to topic!!

try running Housecall, Hijackthis and other lil software like that.. those might also help

also if ur courageous and know what your doing, go dwindle in the land of registry (regedit.exe in Start/run) and do look for suspicious entries..

im a noob to the forum but not to computers and knowing how to do stuff

besides everyone was a noob once, but you only grow if you stay active, im talking about the people that just post 1 thing and then leave untill they need something to mooch of again. the ones that dont help anyone or try to give back to the forum.

and Hijack this doesnt really tell you whats bad
usually you gotta get someone really experianced to look at it. or search up the values somewhere
