I'm trying to decide whether I want to use Enigma or Chains of Honor on my MA Assassin.

Enigma:
+2 To All Skills
+45% Faster Run/Walk
+1 To Teleport
+750-775 Defense (varies)
+ (0.75 Per Character Level) +0-74 To Strength (Based On Character Level)
Increase Maximum Life 5%
Damage Reduced By 8%
+14 Life After Each Kill
15% Damage Taken Goes To Mana
+ (1 Per Character Level) +1-99% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items (Based On Character Level)

Chains of Honor:
+2 To All Skills
+200% Damage To Demons
+100% Damage To Undead
8% Life Stolen Per Hit
+70% Enhanced Defense
+20 To Strength
Replenish Life +7
All Resistances +65
Damage Reduced By 8%
25% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items

Both have +2 to all skills, Enigma seems to generate more defense but CoH has +65 to all resistances and both have DR by 8%. Even though CoH generates less of a defense, I think the Resistances and DR make up for it. Oh and the 8% leech is pretty decent too. Teleport is not necessary, but would be kind of nice I guess. What do you guys think?

yea its preatty hard to choose between coh and nigma most of the times but if ur doin a melee azn nigma (course) and hrmm trap azn really depends cuz u either want the resist or the tele (but i c most wit coh cuz i dont think they have to tele much to cast traps like that) anywayz thats wut i think gl on choosing :o

Casting teleport while casting traps isnt such a bad idea....

Trappers should use Enigma to tele, but melee asns can use Coh, bcuz dragonflight allows them to tele right next to their enemies.

i would say take nigma because of the telaport. but because of traps u dont need it, but kickers need telaport that would kick a$$ in a pvp fight. that would be bad a$$

i didnt think that kickers would be good in pvp battles

Silver Ice

i didnt think they would be either, but with some gear and maxed kick attacks i did from 25-100k. mind you, i did have 5k str and dex so that may have accounted for it

enigma because max out fade and you will have alot of resist so no need for coh

i would have to say COH cuz of resistances..

yazzi

exactly. trappers, enigma so they can tele. any melee asn should have dragon flight and thereby not need it.

Keep in mind that resistences are considered to be the most important attribute, also keep in mind your other characters and which armour would be most useful for them.

yes, but trappers ddoge almost anything that comes at them. tehy are technically considered casters. wwsins and all melee asns however get upclose and personal and therefore need coh for resists.

I figured the resistances would factor in a bit more seeing as how my character is PvM. Thanks all for your input.
