I updated D2 and LOD to 1.11b and have tried to use Hero Editor 0.96 on my characters but whenever I open my characters I always get like Item Code Not Found or Unknown Stat Found. Is there any way to fix this?

It should work with 1.11 and 1.12

What os are u running? If u are using vista make sure u give yourself rights to run the program as a admin

I have not tested this myself.

Does the SP version really have that much to do with if it works or not?

It shouldn't matter what OS. Have you got items in your character from custom mods? as Hero Editor wont like them.

I'm not using any custom mods at all

Try making a new char with nothing on it. So that we know its not a item giving u issues

Just for a test.

I am lacking in the required post count on this site to post a URL. I am sorry that I did not know this and I will make an effort to correct this.

Still giving me error messages, even on the items you start out with (basic wand, club, etc) And when I try to save the character and load it in Diablo (with nothing changed, just pressed save), it gives me a Broken stats message =/

(Ignore above post, it seems I can't post smileys yet)

From Zonfire99
Until I release the new version of Hero Editor, the present version is V0.96.

If you try to open a character file with Hero Editor V0.96, it will only display that message if the character file is either corrupt, or it is from an older version of D2, prior to V1.09D (such as V1.03 or V1.07).

If you expect the character files are from D2 V1.09D or newer, then if you haven't already done so, get the "present" version of Hero Editor

V1.0 Hero Editor is being worked on ATM.

Hmm, looks like when I changed my system regional files to English (From my previous Japanese) the problems seems to be fixed.
