is it better to start off with a blizz sorc or a orb sorc?

Well, it depends on your playing style I guess. Blizz will have more damage, while orb can serve you better in terms of mechanics. Blizz can also use the moat strategy to kill meph easily, so they'd be better for mf-ing and getting good items quickly. I'd go with blizz personally. Once you get used to casting blizz, the mechanics aren't too much of a drawback.

Definitely Blizzard. Orb has extremely low damage when you just start off and have close to no armor. Its very fun to use, but isn't viable to kill the basic bosses like Mephisto in hell.

in xpac start off with blizzard sorceress.
however in classic mode use an orb sorceress.
