Ok, this forum has been quite inactive for a while. I notice spit is updating some things, but it doesn't seem to be getting it more active.
I also noticed some people are coming back, but its also mostly the same people every day. If there is a new member, they don't stay.

Advertising.....
We need more people to advertise this forum around other sites, forums, spread the word! We are not going to get anywhere without letting people know about us.

Sections......
Most sections are dead.
D2 section is going pretty well, it could be going better. A big problem is the graphics section.
I've stated this many times, and I'm going to say it again. Me, and Nex cannot make people come and post! We have signature showoff(no one is doing it) We have request threads (no one is doing it) and we also have SOTW! I would love to know the point of members doing SOTW if there is nothing fun about it. There should be a prize or contest or something to make it enjoyable and fun for members. We cannot help it if no one does these things because nothing new is coming to the forums.


Well, FrogMan is really not posting and inactive, we really need to make a step-up in our moderators/administrators for active people.

I hope this has encouraged someone to do something or start something new with this forum, if this post is just ignored, well, I tried, but didn't succeed.... heh :p

If we really want to get this forum to get more active again the focus has to move from D2 to WoW and SC2. I know Spit has a SC2 site but there needs to be more WoW stuff since that is currently the most popular game ever created.

SilverTears, not sure how to help make the site more active myself, but I used to vote to keep it #1 (don't see that link anymore) and when asked in a game I do direct them here... Don't know how else to advertise it...

Word of mouth is always a very effective form of advertising. Cheaper, too x)

Dont get rid of d2 section. that will lose you people. While adding WoW will add people. .. Blegh. I think there needs to be less empty areas of the forum also. Mainly the most active threads get closed becuase people argue (even though its fun)

I'm not saying delete the D2 Section I'm saying make the WoW section bigger and start advertising our WoW stuff. D2 is old and pretty much anyone who plays it knows where to go for info by now.

That's a brilliant idea. I suggested it to Luke a few days ago, but I don't think he thought about it all that much.

Host comps where people can win upgrades to a site or something, I don't know. Money is always a good incentive, and a lot of people will do anything for money. What comps could be run that would relate to the site?

just so you people know: i may not remain on ths forum for long because:
A) the forums are too inactive, and i make it active only if other people posts
B) certain people just loves to hurt me straight to the dark ages.
