What are bots really used for I know for like Baal runs but do people and can people have a bot program run their main character that they use when playing? Does it pick up items like what are bots for other then Baal runs and other boss runs?

thats what a bot is for. Boss runs. once you are a high level you can get your level higher with a bot and also, most bots have a pickit built in so that it picks up uniques and stuff.

yea i use mmbot.
Blizzard could probably detect mmbot if they wanted.. but as we all know blizzard dont really care much about D2, so yea its safe at the moment.

iight cool cool so next is to find someone to help me setup mmbot. I know that there is threads that help on mm.BOT and how to start it but I would rather talk to someone on aim or msn its a lot easier to talk to someone getting help setting it up just in case some thing went wrong is the setup process I would have help right away and not wait for a reply on a post.

First try using the thread on this site. It's pretty easy to set up just a standard script.

yea try the walk throughs there pretty good, and refer to faq with an problems first they answer most of the problems.
