Ok I'm still sorta new to Diablo 2 and D2:LOD I have been playing for about a month now on Ladder characters and just wondering what is the true difference between the 2 I know that its like ranked for most exp on the ladder but is there any "ingame" difference at all?? please try and help as much and you can thanks.

Aside from being ranked, there are items that can only be dropped on Ladder, and runewords that can only be made on Ladder

so there no difference in a higher drop rate of magic and rares and any other items but is there more Hcube recipies in non ladder? cause I hear so many different thing from different people.

The rate of drops is the same. However, certain uniques can only be found on Ladder, such as Fathom or Crown of Ages. Also, certain Runewords such as Spirit and Insight can only be made on Ladder, there are many more of each uniques and runewords, I just listed two examples.

My brother (KazeCloud, you might know him) told me the main reason is because the pplz on non ladder has been playing on NL for a long time and is really pro since they have all the time where in ladder it resets like every year.

so I'm guessing theres more people that play NL then ladder or is it the other way around?
