So I'm picking up D2:LOD again after a couple years of not playing. I used to bot with an orb sorc, but I really have no memory as to how I distributed my stats and why.

What I am looking for is the stat distribution between strength, dex, and vitality. All that stuff. I hear from some people I should just go with 100 strength and the rest vitality... but I go OOM a lot.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any advice. This character is going to have pretty much no gear. I'm also stuck in normal mode as I can't seem to find anyone to rush me, or even get people to join my games for that matter.

well i like to have all gear planned out before i build a char. But if its a first char and you really dont have much my best advice would be to use gear as needed as you level up
chances are that once you get some decent gear your going to want to delete your sorc anyways or replace it with a new char

but id say enough dex for max block...enough strength to wear decent gear and res into Vita
