Apparently, once a mage (http://wow.qj.net/tags/mage/4903) spell-steals a buff, it can't be purged anymore.

Freakitiki cited bloodlust, earth shield, ancestral fortitude, and totem of the third wing as the affected buffs. As it turned out, the bug not only affects shaman buffs but also any buff from all classes spellstolen by mages.

Remember when the fireball/frostbolt bug (http://wow.qj.net/WoW-PTR-Mage-s-rank-14-fireball-frostbolt-bugged/pg/49/aid/109948) had the mages on the wrong end of the stick? This time, mages will be an overpowering force should this bug reach the live realms. It's a good thing Blizzard (http://wow.qj.net/tags/blizzard/76) blue post Hortus (http://wow.qj.net/tags/hortus/12668) acknowledged the issue for investigation.
