View Full Version : Which president canidate would you vote for? Ragnarhox 01-22-2008, 05:31 AM I decided to make this thread because it is kind of a large event coming up. I put 'would' in the title to allow members who are under voting age to add their two cents.
I don't even think it will be worth voting because I don't really believe we have much of a choice anyways. The only candidate I think would do any good as the president is Ron Paul and honestly I don't think he has a snow ball's chance. confused:
Democrats-
Hillary Clinton
Barack Obama
John Edwards
Mike Gravel
Dennis Kucin....(sp?)
Republicans-
Ron Paul
Mit Romney
John McCain
Fred Thompson
Mike Huckabee
Rudy Guliani (sp?)
EDIT: Some candidates have dropped out.
EDIT: Can't believe no one noticed that the title is spelled wrong >.< SpoonMan999 01-22-2008, 05:36 AM I'm honestly not sure at this point. Nobody really stands out to me and I'm at an impasse. Obfuscate 01-23-2008, 02:27 AM No one. None of the canidates are presidental material if you ask me.
P.S. Ron Paul has less of a chance than a snow ball in hell. He may serve as a great Rose Pero though. One of these guys.
Ron Paul
Mit Romney
John McCain
Fred Thompson
Mike Huckabee
Rudy Guliani
The others are anti life, anti moral pussies. The Mob 01-23-2008, 04:33 AM you may want to update the list a tiny bit. there are only the three dem front runners left, and fred has dropped out.
i really liked bill richardson.. but he is gone as well..
at this moment i have no idea. Haystizzle 02-01-2008, 12:41 AM I agree with Rag, i like ron paul b/c he was the only republican to vote against the war.....etc. but his chances.....we'll see Screamthoughts 02-01-2008, 01:04 AM Ron Paul, I think he would do pretty good, but mine don't count any how, I can't Vote! And it sucks.mad: bigdeath 02-01-2008, 01:52 AM I like Ron Paul too. Its funny how the guy that makes the most sense is the one with the least votes. But I've come to expect that kind of stuff from this country. SpoonMan999 02-01-2008, 08:26 AM At this point I'm probably voting for McCain. as of right now, i am not registered to vote; even though im 18, but if i was registered i would not vote for any of the presidents, i see in all there campaigns, communist, dictatorship, and most of all, they are god and we are nothing but pawns to them. If America was still Confederate, we would not have a horrible society like we do today, we would not have crack, methainphetamins, or any other horrible drugs, we would have whites only, all other that dont speak english, Get the FOOK out. (this is my opinion) bigdeath 02-02-2008, 02:26 AM Why Mccain spoon? He hasnt really created a platform to run on? Oh wait I know its cause he's the guy you see on TV all the time. SpoonMan999 02-02-2008, 04:53 AM No, it's because he's been very straight forward when I hear him speak and personally I don't like Romney much, though I hate Hilary and just dislike Obama. Don't pretend like you know how my politics work, I made no attempt to insult you for your opinion so keep your snide comments to yourself. bigdeath 02-02-2008, 11:27 AM What has Mccain been straight forward about? I've seen em flop from one side of a debate to the other. SpoonMan999 02-02-2008, 07:53 PM When I've seen him talk he's always been straight to the point, that's what straight forward means. bigdeath 02-03-2008, 01:29 AM But he doesnt say anything hes going to do really. He basically just criticizes Romney for having lobbyist run his campaign. What is his running platform exactly? I honestly want to know. I think Mccain will just be another Bush but even worse. KazeCloud 02-03-2008, 01:48 AM Well I seriously want Hilary to be president, but for some reason I asked around 4-5 people in California, mostly teachers, and they said hell no to Hilary. o_O bigdeath 02-03-2008, 03:01 AM I just watched a debate and all Mccain did the whole time was rip on Romney. It was basically just a catfight between the two. Hell Paul and Huckabee could barely get a word in edgewise over their bickering. SpoonMan999 02-03-2008, 03:08 AM But he doesnt say anything hes going to do really. He basically just criticizes Romney for having lobbyist run his campaign. What is his running platform exactly? McCain is actually often accused of being very liberal for a Republican, though he stands by that he's conservative. He really hasn't shown many similarities to Bush other than being religious, though I don't see him as the type of person to push his beliefs onto others like Bush. When it comes down to it I'm not really a huge fan of McCain but I dislike him less than I do the other candidates and that's pretty much it. bigdeath 02-03-2008, 11:31 AM He said that he wouldn't want to make a decision on environmental standards cause he donut know that greenhouse gases actually cause the damage that they say they do. Either he's getting paid by someone or he's just plain ignorant. The last ice age was brought about by a change of something like 10 degrees. We're like half way there. Metalhead Steve 02-03-2008, 05:48 PM If the Dems don't nominate John Edwards then I'm voting independent.
They also don't stand a chance if they nominate Billary or Barack. If Obama had more experience he may be worth voting for, but at this point in time he is not qualified for the presidency in my eyes. Then again his inexperience can serve him well because he may not be corrupted.
Edwards is out of the race; he took himself out last Wednesday. If he supports one of the two left they might have a good shot @ winning on the Dem side. |
