I'm borrowing a friends laptop for a school presentation, and he has ubuntu installed on it. It worked just fine on his network, but when i brought it home and put it on my wireless network, only a few websites would work. EVE Online - a massive multiplayer online roleplaying space game - MMORPG (http://www.eve-online.com) would work, but Blizzard Sector - Diablo Warcraft Starcraft (http://www.blizzsector.net) or Google (http://www.google.com) would both not work. I dont have a firewall turned on in my router, and I tried it both with wireless and wired, in fact, the wireless would be more likely to go to any webpage.
Another issue, when i click an application it sometimes won't run unless i restart the computer and re click it.
EDIT!!!
Ok i tried using USB as my connection to my modem/router and it worked, but I kinda need the wireless to work, so if you can think of anything...
Also the program not launching is kind of a pain in the ass as well.
