I'm pretty sure that Merman's Sprocket does not exist as an item you can find in Diablo 2. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I know I'm not.

So pm an admin... Or a mod...

I'm pretty sure that Merman's Sprocket exists in the game, it just cannot drop. Elaboration: developers made this item and it was too awesome, so instead of changing it, they disabled the drop for it. So therefore, even though it cannot drop, it's technically in the game.

All you had to do was google the item name

That does look pretty godly.

Yes photoshop looks like it although this is a item of myth really and apparently does exist to a certain few. Rumours are that its an old 1.09 glitch item.

I saw it as an item in a mod when I googled it.

If it were that good, think they might have made it a bit more original looking? Looks like normal boots to me found in Cold Plains.

I already explained once, but seems like I need to do it again.
The item is not photoshopped, it is taken exactly as it is from game files. It is just like any item out there, with one exception, the variable for it's drop has been changed from 1 to 0, so it won't ever drop, unless that variable is changed.

Many items aren't classed by how good they look. For example hot spurs. It seems to be a trend in boots with absorb or resistance are made from that particular graphic of boots.

The boot itself doesn't look so godly that it can't be put in the game. Cold absorb has always been not enough. With it, we can probably be off a little better. =]

Look at that FRW% though. Any character will be able to completely desynch in a matter of moments.

Also, the CBF means that people won't really need Raven's that much any more, or Cham their Shakos for it.
