FPS is small for frames per second itz how fast sumin moves in daiblo ever see the screen go real slow when a necro is around with 50 thousand skels well thats "low fps high fps is when everythin is rollen nice and smothly anf "fast

in some games a high fps can give u hughe advantages, like in quake3 u jump higher/longer the game seem to go "slower" wich makes it easier to aim and so on

it also tells you your ping (the higher it is, the more lag your going to get)
