| View Full Version : Mods Arc 12-03-2007, 06:27 AM ... FraterPerdurabo 12-03-2007, 02:43 PM Maybe you should explain it a little more. Omen and KTM are not compatible together, so use either one or the other. Generally, I'd recommend Omen, since it records data from multiple mobs at the same time and you can see your individual threat on every mob, whereas KTM only records your threat on one single mob. In addition, go for either DeadlyBossMod or Bigwigs, no reason for having both. Also, you should add Itemrack / Closetgnome. Both are extremely useful for changing gear fast when it's required. Or when you simply cannot be arsed to remember what all your different gear sets consisted of. On my druid, I have something like 6+ different gear sets and I tweak with my gear a little before practically every single fight, so such mods are very useful. If you're going to take this thread seriously, you might add in certain class-specific mods, i.e. Druidbar for Druids, Huntertimer for Hunters and I know there are some really nifty mods for practically every class. In addition, NaturEnemyCastbar is a must have addon for PvP. Gladiator is very nice for Arena. I was going to make a thread about mods a while back, but I quit WoW just recently so interest dwindled. Try to keep it up please : ) Aemaeth 12-03-2007, 05:35 PM I'll compile a more extensive list for specific classes. Arc 12-03-2007, 11:22 PM Maybe you should explain it a little more. Try to keep it up please : ) thanks for the feedback, ill keep up on this and do what you recommended. However Omen is compatible with KTM, if you have omen and another person has KTM you can still see their threat, and vice versa, the only problem is that Omen is a single target threat meter and KTM is an average of all threat put out while in combat. But thanks for the feedback and ill work on making it better Raids Omen Threat Meter | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/9101/) - Omen Omen is great for raids, It offers a really good threat meter for individual targets, where as KTM is multiple target threat averages. great for raiding and keeping your MT tanking. BigWigs Bossmods | Curse (http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/3299/) - Big Wigs Another great Raid addon, Big Wigs will help with bosses in all major raids (even inside MC BWL NAXX Aq20 and 40). great for letting you know whats going to happen and when it will happen, makes encounters easier in my opinion. Deadly Boss Mods | Curse (http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/4940/) - DBM Pretty much the same thing as Big Wigs, only difference is that DBM also includes a BG set which will tell you the time on flag respawns in WSG, captures in AB/AV, and approximate time till Horde/Alliance wins if all stays well. CDKP | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/10272/) - CDKP CDKP is a raiding addon used to keep trak of DKP totals and gains. great if your a major raiding guild and have 25 people raiding each night. WoWInterface Downloads : ItemRack (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4148) Itemrack like Frater said is a great addon for raids/PvP, it allows quick changing of gear so there is less downtime, great for if you have to switch gear fast before a pull. highly customizable . are extremely useful for changing gear fast when it's required. Or when you simply cannot be arsed to remember what all your different gear sets consisted of. Miscellaneous/Questing Atlasloot Enhanced | Curse (http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/2983/) - Atlas Loot Great addon, if your anything like me you will sit there for hours looking at all the gear. Great for seeing which boss drops what and also for linking items if you dont have them AlphaMap (Fan's Update) | Curse (http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/2055/) - Alpha Map Great for questing, if any of you use online help for quests and it gives coordinates, or people keep giving you coords and you dont know where they are, this is for you. It includes world map coordinates for all places from elwynn up to SMV. Also includes maps of all lesser dungeons and major raids and has an instance/raid Atlas loot.
