View Full Version : Working Out tigeroip 11-27-2007, 08:36 PM Well, for the past couple of months i have been working out at the local gym and id like to share my experience of how amazing i feel now, loosing about 45lbs. I was so fat, that i hated myself and how i looked as well as i was starting to have heart problems and i told myself that had to stop. After about playing world of warcraft for a year and sitting behind a computer eating pizza and hot pockets, i have been putting on weight, rapidly. This is my picture of before august

Its not a huge progress, but im getting there to my goal of 190lbs, i am right now 225lbs. I hope those that are thinking of working out and loosing weight, its a great idea but if you feel uncomfortable doing it, i suggest finding a buddy to go with everyday or so. Also the first picture is from last fall, i put on about 20 or so lbs after that during winter.
So go out there and reach your goal, feel happy and proud to look in the mirror afterwards and tell yourself that you look much better than before. Chicks dont dig fat guys and as i realized it, so must you.
I hope by sharing my story it will encourage those who need help and are overweight. Since school started I lost 10 pounds just because I don't eat as much as I did over the summer, and still losing it. I've also started getting more exercise too, so it should stay going down at about the same pace.
Good job on losing 45 pounds, thats alot of weight to lose. tigeroip 11-28-2007, 12:06 AM thanks man, i go to the gym everyday hopefully ill reach my goal of 190lbs or so by the summer. Mushroomhead18nc 11-28-2007, 02:17 AM yeah man this isnt that great of a story. but in 9th grade i used to weigh 240lbs and now im one year graduated and i weigh 170lbs which is great considering i didnt diet. All i did honestly was do curls with 1 dumb bell. Pumping weights speeds up your metabolism tigeroip 11-28-2007, 03:31 AM well all i do is spend about 1-2 hours in the gym everyday that i dont work and i run everyother day in my gym class. When we started runnign this semster i couldnt run 2.4km, but by now our longest run is 7km and i can run it completely without stopping for a break. Its amazing how much you can emproove in running if your just starting. I'm not over weight but just wanted to say, good work and keep it going, befor you know it you'll be thinner than a broom. tigeroip 11-28-2007, 04:07 AM thats my goal, thanks Screamthoughts 11-28-2007, 04:09 AM No problem. What few pounds I didn't want to get rid of, I did with eating salad's. If i want to loose weight all i have to do is go to sleep, it's ridicules. I can go to bed weighing around 70 Kg , then the next morning be 65 kg.
Congrats on the weight loss man! tigeroip 11-28-2007, 11:51 AM its different for everyone. I used to play soccer everyday for hours with friends, when i came to Canada i stopped having excersize and got fat. Plus im a food lover so i eat a lot. This being said i gained a shit load of weight, that inst as quite easy to loose than to gain. | |
