YouTube - [aX wannabe] ZanZer-knife kills (http://youtube.com/watch?v=sCCDdgN2PTY)

Go ahead, call me a noob. I've only been playing for about 3 1/3 months.

Also, this is the first counter-strike video I've ever made. Whenever I record it lags a lot. Anybody know how to fix this? I was thinking of Setting the fps rate that it records the same as my fps rate on cs.

Yes I know how, you record a demo of yourself first, then record it with fraps.

Erm... Why are you using Fraps?
Type "record asd" into the console and it records your game in a nicely editable way. Type "stop" when you want to stop the recording.

Afterwards, if you want to get the .bmp of your demo, type "viewdemo asd" and "startmovie asdf 20", this will make .bmp images of your demo at a frame rate of 20, so 20 pictures per second into your cstrike folder. You can then assemble these pictures into a movie.

By the way, check out this video, it's awesome cool:

Fraps is the best game recording and quality program out right now. With Fraps all you have to do is record over your demos and its all setup, now all that is left is video editing. I'm not sure about you but that seems alot easier to me :p

Maybe easier, but Fraps limits you a lot. If you use ingame recording you can change resolutions, add effects, etc.

Like what effects?

It allows you to play with ingame settings, so you can, for example install bloom effects, extra blood, needless to say, changing resolution, graphics, bits, bulletholes, remove HUD, change crosshair, etc,

Lol yeah dude, anything allows you to do that no matter what you are using. That is CS's settings. Recording it has nothing to do with that.

You didn't quite understand, did you? For example, you can play with 640x480 resolution, like most people do who are at least decent at this game, but record your video at 1280x1024. You can't do this with Fraps without finishing up with horrible graphics.

I see what your saying, I still prefer Fraps though :p
