Ok, So, I've been IP Ban for nearly 35+ Hours now.

Can't find the best solution for it. Any Advice ?

If you can change your IP you would be good. Either that or you just wait it out. There are guides out there for changing a dynamic IP.

unplug your router and modem for 5 minutes, but only unplug the power cables.
after 5 minutes plug them back in.
This is called a 'power cycle', and it forces both devices to get new adresses from the ISP (for the modem) and the modem (for the router).

thats usually more than enough to change your ip adress.

you might as well just unplug your router for 10 seconds and plug it back in, that makes it possible for me to download one rapidshare file after another, and that site limits your downloads according to your IP adress.

Ip ban of more than 35+ hours can't be solved by switching your ip. The only thing it will do is allow you to join one game, when you exit a game, you will again have realm down. Just wait one more day without trying, its almost over.

Stop trying to log in when you have an ip ban.

From what i heard the ban doubles whenever u try to log in.

Supposingly it's 1hour ban. You try 30mins later, it doubles to 2...you try 30mins later it doubles to 4...so you could've logged in if you waited for 1 hour and not keep trying and trying.

That's why most bots have a xxx time once IP ban. I don't think u see bots trying to log in and login during IP ban?

I seem to recall reading something like that myself... It may have been on Bnet forums actually, but I'm quite sure it doesn't double all the time. I bet it just delays the timer.

It delays it somewhat. But not exactly double every single time.

i forgot whats the amount so for simplicity sake i just said doubles lol

You can get rid of an IP ban by changing your ip, I have done it before. All you have to do if you have dial up is disconnect then reconnect. If you have broadband let me know and I'll go sit at my windows machine and try to figure it out again lol.

This is what it was in response too. You can keep playin same as normal to my experience.

easy way to avoid IP bans is to quit playing D2, if that doesnt work for you than wait it out
