I like how you salvaged some parts for this computer from your old one. Imo the new Asus P5E-3 board is top of the builder list for now( since you mobo is valued at over $300USD). Also FYI i think you could OC an AMD 5000+ Black chip up to where you are at now for less money if you wanted to stay with AMD. On you soundcard it's odd since your mobo comes with 7.1. Maybe you edit songs and like the Creative interface. I hope your powersupply is enough for the dual power vid cards you have tho. Ovisouly you would need water cool to amp up the performance of your machine. Or atleast get a heatsink fan/cooler for starters if you can even fit it. Sorry to for all the complainers who put in more opinion with owning a lesser system. Your not the type of person to run on a low budget system ($1000 or less) I score an (8) for you But I know your next one will be an (11) every pc you get ousts the previous one by a gererous margin. P.S. One Love for Skidude one of the coolest ppl on BZS i am getting the stuff to water cool my cpu's now too :p so i can over clock it better. and i may have to get another power supply to run it all even tho i have a 850watt now. i may get a 1200watt psu to go with it before this pc is done it will be fully water cooled running at the max stable over clock for the pc. im not 100% sure but i think i can get 4ghz easy off each cpu but i will have to bump up the volts smartass2 Yes you will prolly need to up the voltage some as well as increase the cas settings for your FSB to oc. But a 1ghz OC's stable is quite impressive as well as saving ohhh id say $1k per chipsetfor what's about to be released this 4th quarter. Your not the type of person to run on a low budget system ($1000 or less) I can link a thread where he is talking about his computer having OC'd P3's :P so he wasnt always at the top of the food chain. Daddy_XL 11-17-2007, 04:40 PM Wow Smear campaign at it's finest eh Dan. Well he seems to be in a diff world from then to now. Maybe we can chalk it under "growth" I'd be affraid to post my new stats of the current build to get some result comments he has recieved so far. |
