So have I been forgotten? Am I famous or infamous? Have you guys wondered about me?
If you have been wondering where I have been I will tell you. I will sum it up in this story.
'Twas the week before my eighteenth birthday and my paycheck was coming. I had been waiting for my eighteenth so I could get a debit card and start online shopping and whatnot. I remember walking into the place I got it with a smile on my face because I knew what was coming as soon as I got it.
I had been waiting to return to this world for as long as I had been registered on these forums. I am talking about a game. To me it is more than a game, it is memories of good times with my friends. The next day I would return to the land of Dereth.
I tried to convince Pam into trying Asheron's Call but she said she had to much going on for another MMO. I have been so deeply involved in the game that I have not posted on many forums. As all of my time is spent either at work, playing bass with my friend, or playing the game.
Before you start talking shit about Asheron's Call saying "It has shitty graphics," or, "It's to old," I want you to know there is no MMO that takes as much skill as AC on the market today... They don't put them out. Everything that comes out now is the same game with a different skin. LOTRO is just like WoW on Middle-Earth I hear. I haven't personally tried it but I don't care to. The only thing that even looks remotely good to me in the future is AoC.
I had played this game before I joined BZS when it was still D2S. I actually had just quit AC because my friend quit and we shared accounts when I joined. I have been playing it since it came out in 11/99. I actually started in 12/99. I have essentially been playing the same game on and off for seven years and it still manages to hold my interest. Games are just not made the same these days, at least online games. Everything is going trendy and there are almost no new ideas. That's why I am almost completely uninterested in anything coming up unless it is console.
I just thought I would check in here and see what it is like and tell everyone where I have been. I will most likely just dissappear again though... Sayonara.
