I am looking to make a smiter possibly for ubering, but mostly cause I've never had one (I am an oldy just restaring D2) and I was wondering if there was an alternative weapon to grief or last wish? I am poor folks so I can't really afford either. (Though I'm not sure of lw price, maybe I could swimng that) On a video someone showed me of a smiter soloing trist the guy was wearing a scepter of some kind. some maybe cheaper alternatives that i have heard of being used on a smiter.... Kingslayer, LawBringer, or Black runewords.... the sceptor u seen being used may have been asterons ward... or however it is spelled... just starting a smiter myself so i cant tell ya if any of them work the greatest or not :)

azurewrath. knocks back all those undead minions. useful nonetheless.

Heaven's light is a quite decent scepter for smiters. The runeword Black also works.

I might try and get one of those. Do any of you know how much grief or lw is non ladder east sc?

Stormlash Scourge is a pretty nifty smiter weapon as well. On the downside the chance to cast Static Field won't work on the uber minions.

I've heard of smiters on the low end (poor) using Crescent Moon.

I just found a very nice The Redeemer. I think it'll be really handy cause it adds 120 dmg and does big dmg to demons, also has the nice skill bonus. Yet to transfer it though.
