Do you HAVE to have on of these things in order to subscribe? I downloaded the full game for the trial, and am trying to subscribe. I would rather hate to have to go out and buy the damn game just for the purty little sticker on the box when I have the full game already. Anyone know?

You must have a new copy of the game. There is a unique authentication code that accompanies each account. There is no way around it, you can't just download the game and subscribe.

Yep, thats what sucks, unless you wanna see if a buddy is quitting and hell give you his account, or a private server.

My little brother plays on a private server. Always bugging me to play, lol. For some crazy reason I still like Diablo. I would probably play Wow if I didn't have to pay.

Meh, I have like two people wanting to give me their full accounts will level 70's. I just have to get ahold of them.

you can download the game and play on a 10 day trial...HOWEVER if you would like to keep going past this 10 day trial than you do need an authentication key from a bought copy, however you dont need to install again, you can just go to the account management page and turn your trial account into a subscribed account with the authentication code

private servers are horrible they always crash.
