View Full Version : Riddles and Guessing Games =] necronomikron 07-20-2007, 06:54 PM mmmm tough one I keep wondering why the sheep didn't eat the cabage and the wolf didn't eat the sheep...then you have only the wolf(not like I would want a wolf in my boat)
I'll pm you the answer, and let others try to guess it.
To clarify: The point is that while the man is there, he can keep the sheep from eating the cabbage, and the wolf from eating the sheep. But, as soon as he leaves them on one side of the river or the other, together, he won't be there to control them. KazeCloud 07-20-2007, 08:56 PM lol. I thought I was going to be giving the riddles here. =[ necronomikron 07-20-2007, 09:01 PM lol. I thought I was going to be giving the riddles here. =[
Nothing wrong with users adding more riddles. :) Post some more and we'll answer them. Darkemperor121 07-21-2007, 12:38 AM You got it.
(Do not use logic on the objects in this riddle, just follow the rules)
A man who has a cabbage, wolf and sheep reaches a river. He finds a boat that can only take himself and one object across. If he leaves the wolf and the sheep or the cabbage and the sheep on one side, one will eat the other. How does he get all three objects across?
Hint: The wolf and cabbage are safe to leave on one side.
Easy one. Bring the sheep accross. Go back. Bring the cabbage and swap it with the sheep. Bring the sheep back, swap with the wolf. Bring the sheep onto the other side. Fuggle 07-21-2007, 12:40 AM Sheep >>>>

Also Kaze, I didn't "add" any holes in my joke, considering most doors are not airtight, there's the crack of light between the ground and the door. Pamela 07-21-2007, 12:59 AM Originally Posted by necronomikron

Here's another. A man is going to leave his property to only one of his three sons. He wants to leave it to the cleverest one. He gives them a contest: The one that can fill a room the most with materials purchased from one gold piece inherits the property. The eldest son purchases sticks. The middle child purchases straw. The youngest son purchases two small items that fit in his pocket. The eldest son's purchase fills up just to the knee. The middle child's purchase fills up to the waist. The youngest son's purchase fills up the room. What did the youngest son purchase?
This one is easy. Fuggle 07-21-2007, 04:20 PM Idk matches or something, smoke bomb? Anything to create smoke. necronomikron 07-22-2007, 06:54 AM Idk matches or something, smoke bomb? Anything to create smoke.
Match and a candle is the correct answer, and it creates light that fills the whole room. KazeCloud 07-22-2007, 06:51 PM 4TH QUESTION
