Someone on jsp was talking about a druid that uses dual phoenix's, have maxed firestorm synergys, but not firestorm itself and has maxed fire claw.

The 40% chance to cast level 22 firestorm is where you get most of your damage, and interesting thought, soon I will make it on hero editor (that's if I can find out how to get ladder only runewords) and test it, will post results later.

It's not a bad idea, but the problem is that you would constantly chance on cast the spell form phoenix, which would interrupt your attack. AS fas as I know, it doesn't do a whole lot of damage, even with synergies.

Well with two phoenix's it's an 80% chance to cast, so thats not the problem, and no, firestorm doesn't do much damage, but think about it, there is a casting delay on regular firestorm but not on phoenix's, plus, a lot of your damage comes from fire claws too.

I have heard that Fire Claw druids can be pretty badass so this seems feasible. You would cast Firestorm virtually every hit with a torch too. But is this a PvP charachter? Gonna need a lot of dex to get good chance to block with Phoenix.

I'm not sure if this would be pvp, I think it would be a fun idea if it was versatile enough for pvp and pvm tho.

Now all I need is to figure out how to get a phoenix on hero editor...
