i dont think it matters where they try him. what matters is that they try him within the original jurisdiction of the court where he committed the crime

Santa Monica obviously has it's own district court if they moved the trial. It is not right.

if you are talking about the city then yes, it has its own district court. im not to familiar with the case myself, but he was probably tried at the federal level then.

I don't consider myself an expert on the case by a longshot. But I believe he was tried by LA county. I could be wrong so don't hold it against me.

In simple terms?If I were on that jury it would have been locked up for DAYS,with no hope of being settled.

Exactly.That whole trial was mishandled.Having SAID that,many of the jurors that aquited him,became aware of information about evidence dissalowed,after it was all over.Several have gone on record as stating they would have voted differently.
I had the luxury of seeing this evidence and hearing the debate on it's authenticity,whereas they did not.
