Ok, so I was thinking we needed a thread to get some ideas on how to obtain access to the 2 ubers other then duriel(Izual, Andariel). If you read my guide on packet sniffing it will make it very easy to contribute to this cause. My guide is up as a sticky and is called "Diablo II packet sniffing." Now onto all the information pertaining to exploiting more ubers.

These are the "rules" that have been figured out about the duriel exploit:

1. Must have canyon of magi waypoint.

Reason:
The Forgotten Sands is pretty much the same as canyon of magi, and
uses the waypoint on that map.

2. Must use act 5(Harrogath) waypoint as departure waypoint.

Reason:
Just like making the portal via keyset, you need to be in act 5 while you
depart.


Now knowing that the waypoint on forgotten sands is the reason we can get there and what waypoints you have effects this also. Now there are a few ideas i have that I am currently exploring:

1. Uber tristram is on the tristram map so there should be a dummy portal on that map.
A. Can uber tristram be accessed from any of the following red portals:
-Tristram
-Cow Level

2. Can the Furnace of pain be accessed from any of the red portals in act 5 near the arreat plateau.(since they have similar maps to furnace).

3. Can the Matron's Den have anything to do with the catacombs, the tower, or other similar act 1 areas.

The following is the data that should be researched first:
1. What packet is used for transmution.

2. What packets are sent and received during the transmution to create the cow level, uber levels from keys, and uber tristram from body parts.

3. What packets are sent and received while entering and exiting uber levels.

4. Can you change townportal destination as well as you can with waypoints.

One problem with the uber tristram i have thought as a problem is that you can't make tp's there so is there going to be a problem with accessing via "dummy" tp.

To collect the packet data for this project you need to use the following command:

.watch send add xx
or
.watch receive add xx

XX represents the packet number being sniffed.

I know that the following packets are ones that i watch when doing my reasearch:

Send:
13 - Click on
45 - Changing TP location
49 - Use WP/TP

Receive:
77 - Has to do with buffers(stash, cube, belt, ect)


With this information out here I am hoping we can really start getting some ideas floating around about how to obtain access to these levels, and after that who knows what else could happen.

The red portal for Izzy would be Abbadon.

It is posible to make for all, but dont make that shit public if you have it!

ren3g4de is figureing out how to open up the other uber portals just as the forgotten sands can be opened up w/ out the keys. yeah i think you should do this stuff for a living man i would of never got this far lol keep up the good work. =)

I think making this public would mean the end of ubers. Just like eyes they have NO value anymore whatsoever. ealier you used to trade an eye for a horn. now its like 10 eyes for a horn or brain. If you do find a way to expoilt these please do not make it public.

You guys are so happy because duping has been "fixed", but why is that? Why are you so happy? Because you guys got pissed after trading legit items, for duped ones without knowing it and they eventually poofed.

The same thing will happen if anyone makes this information public. If these exploits are ever found to work, torches will lose their value completly. I have 15 legit torches all found, indentified and obtained with 3 keysets. You ask urselves why i have so many? Its because i work for the keys, i trade hrs i key run. I dont make it easy by using a program like the duriel expoilt to obtain organs.

But anyway i take it you guys wont stop till all items that are still worth anything are droping from the sky.

Thats my opionen on this matter.

I will not be closing this thread because i think the community can benefit alot from this if this is successful and can be a "bonding" thread for devoted hackers.

I definitely agree with JMa. So anyone got anything to contribute to the cause yet. I have tried multiple abbadon methods, non have worked so far.

I didnt ask for this thread to be closed. If they want to work on the exploits they are more than welcome. All i asked for was the information not be presented to a large portion of the public. I would even help to find ways (only im noob at stuff like that) but i wouldnt use it to my advantage, to ruin the game.

So i am wondering if anyone knows of any of the received packet numbers for when a cube transmutes(aka. cow portal, ubers). I think this could be key to doing this whole thing.

So i was thinking about this last night and a problem occured to me. When you travel to uber duriel you must leave from hell harrogath, next to the wp, because hell harrogath is where you must leave from to get to uber duriel and his wp. This leads me to assume that to reach the other bosses red portals you will also have to leave from hell harrogath from a red portal. Well at least if you want the organs/torch. Does that perhaps mean you should try anya's redportal to reach other ubers, or perhaps even just use a key set portal to reach tristram?

Ok so I tried Anya's red portal in the same manner you would the duriel exploit. But i immediately got C/I. And i know if i try to change the tps destination with packet 45 i got R/D. So i think we need to look at spoofing the creating of the portals. If someone can help me find the packets that are sent and recieved in the transmuting process i think we will get alot further. I have tried a few things and i am about to start watching every packet 10 at a time, both sending and receiving, and create the cow level over and over again until some results are in. If anyone wants to help with this that would be great. All you would have to do is setup redvex and netstuff and sniff away at the packets. I will jump on a instant messenger with anyone who needs help just post it here or pm me you messenger handle.

Well this seems like a good idea. It'll help the people that can't afford torches get them. Not everyone on diablo 2 can be rich. I'm a good example of that. Good luck renegade and sorry I can't be of more help to you but with school and all that good stuff *Sarcasim* I won't have the time.

ok so i went and got about 30 organ sets.....been sniffing random groups of packets each time i make portal.....no significate data found so far. Does anyone out there know or want to help me find the packet which is sent/received during portal creation through transmution?

I heard of a rumour that a guy opened uber trist with transmuting 3 eyes.. maybe you can look at what packet it is for portal to open...
