Ok, I think this forum has been over-ran for the past who knows by complete assholes and spammers.
Every single other post I look at is either spam or another flame. What the hell is the point of having rules if no one obeys them? Especially since half the time no one does anything about it. Ooh a warning(like they would care).
Also what is up with all the people wanting to get veteran? Grow up, you get your PM box bigger, an extra forum you can look at(which is hardly active anymore) and a color to your name. It's no big deal. Yet people still try to spam there way up to it.
And the people that are always talking about them wanting moderator. Saying that you want it is basically asking can I have it. In all, a position like that should be offered by an administrator. You can't just go up to one of the staff and ask for a position, because they are not going to give it out to some random person who asks.
Then there are the suck ups who think just by being "nice" will get on someones good side.
I am not sure who stated this, I think it might have been Mike though(bloodangel).

About Pam, just leave her the hell alone. Stop being the immature person you are PMing her for no reason with that 1 pointless word.
Also I'm not going back to this, but I made one tiny joke and basically the whole damn forum jumped up and started popping up everywhere bothering her. As far as I know, the pointless PMing is annoying.
If you ask me, I think this whole forum turning into a trash bag because of all of this.

I totally agree. when i 1st came here there were more threads that actually helped people with the game. now i log in and see threads about jokes,pictures, or what you did last weekend. Who Cares?

I don't know why people keep saying everyone is spamming to get to vet. Everyone that is active is vet, legend or a mod already, at least that is how it seems.

Thats no big deal, there is a section for the jokes and pictures. Its fine as long as its in the right section.

No I dont have anything against him, I just think that he spammed up to veteran. Therefor thats why I think it should be removed because people spam to get to it and its pointless.

I was just referring to how this site has evolved. it used to be mainly all d2 talk and help when i was browsing the forums as a guest but now your lucky to see a thread about d2. its more like a social forum than a gaming one. take out the downloads in this forum and you would have a social forum. (I dont mean social as in talk, there has to be talk in a forum im not that dumb but i cant think of how to word it lol)

Whenever anyone says every one spams to get to vet HIM is the only example I can think of...Maybe it is less that everyone is spamming to get to Vet and more like everyone is spamming. And it does get annoying when someone says multiple times that they do not want to be given mod when all they are really doing is asking for it.

Probably because Diablo2 is kind of dying. I remember when this site used to be d2sector.net, but they changed it to blizzardsector.net to try and incorporate more games. I mean take Pam. I have nothing against Pam but...she is a mod on a diablo2 site...and never has played it..lol Most the mods don't even play d2 anymore.

Not every single post is spam. There are a select few spammers that consistently spam though and it is puzzling to me why they havent been banned. Talk to your superiors, that is the best thing you can do.

Back when VBPlaza worked, I bought posts to get myself to vet ^_^. I think that beats spamming. I still agree with you though.

I've lurked d2sect forums for quite a while...before the "veteren" status and what not it was still a spam forum just for other reasons. V-Points, oh lulz. The forums hasn't changed all that much man.

People have said the forum is just being ruined by spam since ages ago, Get rid of the reasons to spam IE this whole veteran and legends bullshit and you we will have no spammers, Afterall recognised members get to the place they are by actions, not colors and extra forums, i say we get rid of the whole status crap. All it does is make retards want the status because to them it matters.

It has been a while since i have really posted. I was forced to leave a long time ago back when mathafddsfklsdfklsfd was banned every other day and just made new accounts. And bloodangel was here (and by the way that quote sounds like something he would say. In fact it sounds familar). Anyways I haven't seen much reason to stay. In fact, I don't know why I have. Most of the posters I have never seen b4. What happened to wm_hunter and Frogman. Hell, where is everyone? I know for a fact that no1 really plays diablo anymore but thats not the point. This is a community. It doesn't matter why or how you came to be here, it matters on the fact that the members stay here. And I am sorry I'm starting to lose my insentive to stay here. I think something needs to happen to Idk livin up the place. Add a spark so that it rekendles the reason that we stay and want to stay. Some sort of party or some shit. Idk something.... It's starting to die and all the spammers just run the place now.
